Thanks so much for the inspiration, I used this idea for a project with my sunday school class (grade 4-6 girls). I had encouraged them to memorize psalm 23 and we made this project and printed this psalm on the tags for the pocket. They absoultely loved it!!! And they are asking for more projects. I really love how you encorporate scripture into so many of your projects.
@denisebrenda1971 Wow, that is so cool. Love it, that you used this project idea for your girls Sunday School Class. You have made my day! All my best, and keep up the great work. Valerie
What a wonderful and inspiring album. I enjoyed your video. I am attending a Bible study at my church called "Pearls from Proverbs" and I want to do an album for the pastor's wife who does the study. I was thinking of doing it in the shape of a pearl. Can you give me any suggestions, I would really appreciate hearing your ideas. My e-mail is mysugarpeach05@gmail.com and my blog is nananovembersparlor.blogspot.com Thank you and again I really enjoyed your video and your album.
@nanas2littleangels Hello, thank you for your wonderful comment. Your idea for the pastor's wife sounds very thoughtful. It might be appropriate in the album to let her know the key things you got out of bible study as a result of her teaching, that would be a great gift. How did what you learn change your life? Maybe what you learned re-affirmed or had you recommit yourself to Christ through what you learned. These are just a few thoughts for you. Have a blessed day. Valerie
How wonderful I love your album. So inspiring. I just recently started going to one of the Bible studies that our church offers called "Pearls from Proverbs". I plan on doing a mini for the pastors wife is doing the study. I want to do it in the shape of a pearl. Do you have any suggestions, I would love your input as well as any of the other readers. My e-mail is mysugarpeach05@gmail.com and my blog is nananovembersparlor.blogspot.com I am so glad that I found this post.
@nickelnook1 Nancy, thank you for your lovely comment. I enjoy crafting with scripture in mind and this was a fun project to work on. Glad you liked it. Have a blessed day, your friend, Valerie
it's so wonderful what you made out of simple toilet paper rolls, some beautiful paper and a little bit of bling. A nice way to have some lovely words to give to someone.
I'm lucky that you mentioned this video in your newest one because somehow I didn't get the youtube-infomail.
And now I'm happy I went looking for this video; I wouldn't have liked to miss this inspirational video.
Now I'll watch your newest one - what a nice Sunday evening I now have :-)
@3534538 Hello Tina, I am glad you liked the videos and find them inspiring. If you have ventured over, please stop by my blog at for a visit as well. A little different than my YouTube Channel, but hopefully just as inspiring!
@faithfulcrafter1 Dear Valerie, I just added your blog to my bookmarks :-)
There are so many beautiful things there...
As for the dying of paper: for an a bit darker result I used instant coffee which I made really strong. And on some paper I sprinkled salt granules - the large grain size for the dishwasher - and let the salt "pull" some of the liquid. That looks nice too, I use that paper for backgrounds.
I'll definitely try that green tea / pomegranate combo. Your blog obiously IS inspiring!
@purityfaith700 Hello Lynn, thank you for your comment. I am always trying to design things that would incorporate scripture. What your video on the little magnets...like them. Good work. Valerie
@mayris3042 Hello. Thank you for your encouraging words. Believe it or not, it helps to get these notes from others. It is motivating! I subscribed to your channel. Look forward to seeing some of your work in the future. Your friend, Valerie
@paperautograph Hi Natasha, thank you for your sweet comment. Glad you like the album. I am working on another one right now using the Mariposa paper collection and it has a lot of butterflies all over it. Stay well, your friend, Valerie

@Cropindimples Hello and thank you for your comment. These TP mini's are fun to make. The shipping tag size is 4 3/4" x 2 3/8". The Anna Griffin paper packs I randomly find at TJ Max on sale. Haven't seen any in a while. Blessings, Valerie
@HolyScrap123 Hello Norma, thank you for your uplifting comment. Yeah, these TP minis are a great gift idea, the one I made is a gift for one of the ladies at church. Blessings, Valerie
Valerie this is very pretty and what a great way to memorize the Word. It is something you would go back to again and again for both the beauty of the mini as well as the scriptures. Good job.
@JandSib80 Hi Sybil, good to hear from you. As always, appreciate your lovely comments and words of encouragement. I really liked this project, as it worked out well with the pockets for memory verses and journal areas. Have a beautiful day. Your friend, Valerie

@ShabbyPinkStamper Hi Patti, good to hear from you. Left you a message on your blog. Yeah, this project worked out well. The design intent was to have a way to keep memory scripture and journal notes together in a small enough package. I think the Carolina Collection of the Anna Griffin papers is one of the prettiest floral packs around. Very Shabby! Have a blessed day, your friend, Valerie
How beautiful, what a lovely way to display God's glorious Word!! Your little corner of the web is so refreshing & peaceful. Such a sweet place to stop and rest awhile after coming in from the world. The things you create just perfect, thoughtful expressions of your love for the LORD. Thank you for glorifying our LORD and sharing your talent and testimony. My momma had alzheimers too. God healed her two years ago when He took her home. I will be with her alot longer than I'll be without her
@irisshubert Hello there. Thank you so much for your touching and kind note. God gave us all gifts...talents...and we are to use them. I have dedicated my crafting to women's ministry and a way that I can serve the Lord. My mom has always been a great woman of faith, even with her disease, she can still quote scripture, I find that amazing. Thank you too for sharing "you will be with her a lot longer than you'll be without her". Have a blessed day, your friend, Valerie
@vanilla232 Hello Michelle, thank you for your comment. I was pleased with how this project turned out. For me, there is a sense of reward, when I complete something I actually like. This is one of those projects. Have a blessed day. Valerie
@JuneBugPins Hello Melissa, you are too funny. When I was making this video, I wasn't sure about what to call them except toilet paper rolls. They worked out really well though. It made building the base of the project easy, especially since the shipping tags fit right in, less work there too. Hope you and your family are doing well. I think of you often, your friend, Valerie
@frogmahall Hello Donna, thanks for stopping by and leaving me this comment. Like you, I don't have many people near me that craft, so it is my YouTube and Blog friends, I look forward to hearing from. Have a blessed day, your friend, Valerie
This mini is just beautiful. I know the recipient will be especially pleased to receive it and the verses are so appropriate. It is gorgeous and very thoughtful of you to create this for a friend.
@CricketsDaughter1 Hi Sherry, thank you for your comment. Some of my gifts are initially created with a friend in mind. I also think about, what can I create that can be used in a varity of ways, just changing up the theme. This is one of those projects. My next one I'm working on right now will have the Mariposa papers throughout and the scripture theme will probably be around "Hope". Blessings to you, your friend, Valerie
thanks :D
