quiet huge plane with such a huge safely record the Boeing-747 jumbo jet. Yes, A380 is the giant in the sky, but 747 will always be the Queen of the Skies. May both provide safer air travel.
Airbus is to much technologic , Boeing offers a more realistic flying expirience , i can say because ive flown a A320 and a B-737 and clearly Boeing wins in enerything
my grandpa travel with that 747, my papa and mama using that plane too now i want to use the same plane that was carrying them too that plane is a generation of flying marvel on earth
The one thing the 747 has that the A380 doesn't is longevity. The 747 is THE workhorse of the airline industry, it's been around for some 4 decades now hauling passengers and cargo efficiently and safely. That says something about how good a design the 747 really is. It remains to be seen whether the A380 can match the 747s record...
I strongly believe that all this Boeing VS Airbus "fight" really has to do with nationalistic issues. And that is why this documentary was quite unacceptable. The fact of the matter is this: only time will judge if the A380 is too big or not. Watch the A380 building documentary and you'll understand why that plane is a very strong competitor. This documentary is made to make Americans feel pride and ensure them that nothing can dominate the, so called, queen of the skies.
the legendary 747 will always rule...its a proven piece of aircraft design/egineering, a wonder -the envy of all other aircraft companies...the benchmark of all double decker planes....the icon of civil aviation..
In the US market, it's probably reasonable to shoot for the regional market. But in Europe, with its high-speed rail connections, which are faster and more convenient than flying, hub to hub works a lot better. Not to mention the Europe-Asia-Australia routes, and it's no coincidence that Qantas, Emirates and Singapore airlines are early A380 customers.
lol A380 vs 747 the age old question of quality vs qantity. boeing can make more 747s, while the a380 is hella slow to make, but hella nice. let me ask you this question, would u want 1 A380, or 5 747s?
Now they've figured out what they should do with it's future. Their research and market analysis points to more range. And, that future is the 747-8. So the development and improvement begins yet again. Amazing plane, people, history, cultures and factory. Thanks for the upload. ;-)

Aviation has always followed nautical traditions. Port and starboard lights for example.
Along with that nautical tradition, all planes, like all ships are female, hence "queen of the skies". There is no king.

And who guides/commands the airplane? The Captain, of course!
