Why are the goggles make to glow green or red, even though they are used in stealth? I mean you could pick them out a mile away in the dark.

@chrisakky it waz introduced in the original game so you could see where he was in the dark without night vision on, as well as a trademark glow

@chrisakky I think it's just a visual thing. Think of it just as a game mechanic or a staple of the game, because night vision goggles in all reality don't glow. What would be the point?

Ubisoft couldn't just make another slow and stealthy Splinter Cell. Sure the hardcore Splinter Cell fans will buy it but the other people who like Assassins Creed wouldn't. So they made it more actiony and cinematic to appeal to those action lovers. There will still be stealth, but not the kind where you stand and watch a gaurd's search pattern.

This game is made so that u can choose to be stealthy or not, its completly up to you. Im not arguing, Im just saying. And I like Assassins Creed quite a bit but I bet that Splinter Cell: Conviction is gonna be so much better than Assassins Creed! But thats my opinion. :)

if you pre order it, you get three extra machine guns to use in the story, a silent mp5, a sc300, and small hand held machine pistol. also u get something called shadow armor for the story. and a bonus mode called infiltration that goes back to the old splinter cells, but that is also unlockable thru uplay. ohh and there will be a versus mode in this, not just coop
