It is a vioce synthinizer (Excuse my poor spelling ^^; ) People put their vioces into the system and a vocaloid was formed. ^^ That is how it is done more or less.

Well, not necesarily. It's not like you could use this in a concert, like an instrument or human singer could do. It does help, though, to here songs sung on the comuter to test how it sounds. Programs like Sibelius don't do that, which makes Vocaloid very useful.

actually u could use this in concert. The group Gorillaz uses hallograms to show its characters on stage instead of the real people. so they could just make these charactes halograms also...that would be cool!
