  • Compliments for the video. I am student and will be studying in Perugia as from July. Would like someone to show me around. (Maybe Picchio :)

  • Hey! I feel so blessed to have found this video :)

I plan on going to the University for a month over the summer (probably in June or July) and I was wondering about how much housing would cost if I stayed with a family or near people. I was also wondering if it would be possible for me to travel to the other parts of Italy, like Rome, or, Florence, from Perugia, because I have some family over there. And if you have any tips in general for me please share! :) I'm from the US

    much love xo

  • @Mounting14 Ciao! I'm glad to hear that my video was useful for you too! I don't know much about Perugia tough. If you want you shoud definitely get in touch with my friend Picchio, (the guy in my video) he can tell you about everything you need to know. he is on FB as " /manuelecarlini " tell him I say hi! :)

Make sure you check my other videos I made in Perugia. You might like them as well. And let me know what you think!

Where about in the States are you from?

  • Thank you. All I want is a communication with Italians. My first choice is to stay with an Italian family.Anyways, staying with Italian students will help also. Where can I find this offer? How much should I pay a month and is it in the centro? I want it near the university.

    Thanks!!

  • This is very helpful. Thanks guys. I will go there after 2 weeks for studying Italian till the end of December.I might stay more If I like it. I have no idea where I am going to stay! I want to stay with an Italian family because It is very good to practice your language. Could you please help me finding an Italian family? any essential tips?

    Thanks again

  • @Kuwaiti8 Hi! I'm Picchio the guy from the video :)

My advise is to stay in a flat with italians students, when you're forced to communicate you'll gonna learn faster. Sure it not will be easy, but you may also experience some funny happenings that will give you a clue on what Italy is about.

I don't know any Italian family, but if you contact me I can give you some phone numbers of my friends.

    Ciao!

  • Other tips: if you spend only a month there for doing the intensive language course you will spend a lot of money on going out.

And there's this snack place in the street leading up from the gate where you can get a 'bigolo' which is a delicious local treat.

  • @kptorrahk mmm... sounds good! I didn't try this. I will.. next time!

    Thanks!
