...too many call of duties. The different parts almost don't differ, a slight addition here or there, but thats it. Could've just taken third place with the call of duty SERIES, instead of slapping this many CODs in here. Halo isn't really a landmark, I think that one goes to tribes 2, but Fallout 3 tried something new. And succeeded. I think aarons right, though halo definetely should be in the top 10 somewhere....

CoD2 is easily the best CoD and I couldn't agree more with Adam. The multiplayer was amazing until it just ended up being hacked to hell. World at War shouldn't have been in the top 100 though.

@Xmetalearth I'm not actually against it. I guess it would be fun at a LAN against friends. I'm just not interested in multiplayer in general. Playing to get better score in order to keep playing seems a bit pointless to me. And yes, it's also because I really SUCK at multiplayer :P

I prefer story-driven singleplayer campaigns and the CoD games have some spectacular and awesome singleplayer moments!

That said, I'm not against people who enjoy multiplayer. I'm just not one of them.

I've started playing CoD seriously at Mw2, I never got into online play though until Black Ops. I've played and beaten Mw2, Black Ops and Mw3. I would like to get some of the older games and check them out as well.

My guess is #1 will be Goldeneye. If not it's going to be either Half-Life 1 or 2. I'm just basing this off the rest of the list. Goldeneye is a classic (plus i imagine it's the game Emre has played the most), and Half-Life's 1 and 2 are those "it's fun because you shoot stuff games". Half-Life 2 also has Aaron's door smashing plus i figure they all loved the story and the nerdy awesomeness of the Gravity Gun. Props for Fallout 3 at least being your second favorite game. Love it to death

Fallout 3 blows the pants off of New Vegas, minus maybe the Old World Blues DLC in New Vegas, because that is some funny funny stuff. I have to agree with most though, its not a FPS, its more RPG than anything with FPS elements. Now what happened to Deus Ex being mentioned, only was named the best PC game of ALL TIME. That's my personal choice for best FPS, period.

@masterjp93 I believe they have almost identical mods for both games. In fact, many of the mods are interchangeable, particularly texture replacers. I know sky and moon replacers work on both because I tried it.

@GameSocietyFilms It's a game in which you travel to different time periods because someone fucks with the time stream. You're a white Riddick or a monkey in some form of costume. The singleplayers pretty fun for all the games and is mostly funny, and the multiplayer is awesome. It has a suprisingly comprehensive map maker as well.

If i'm not mistaken, they were developed by some former Rare developers which is why it feels similar to GoldenEye.

@GameSocietyFilms Timesplitters is an awesome game series of three that came out a while ago. The first game was bad, the second was a lot of fun, and the third was amazing even considering the more... silly plot. I've noticed a lot of people in the comments supporting it, myself included, to be the top choice game. Play Time Splitters 2 then 3. You will love it. Hundreds of weapons, fun levels, fun story, hundreds of playable characters, and oh so many awesome mini/side games.

It is PS2 and classic Xbox. Timsplitters: Future Perfect is the best of the series though, you should definitely check it out.

It makes sense, because, say, the worst out of ten games would be at eighth place and that would be weird.

I have to assume you didnt play the first two games. As an RPG its far inferior to Obsidians New Vegas, but that one fails to garner the console buttsecks approval due to not being Bethesda and having 10million fifteen year old fanboys.

But making an RPG like they did in the 90's can't be done anymore, it's just a difference between game generations. I did play Fallout 1 for an hour, and it was interesting, but hard.
