I have a Singer sewing machine that is about 12 years old, so I've never sewn on anything but that. I can tell you DON'T try the handheld sewing machines. YIKES that wasn't easy to use. I think a simple machine would be fine.

That's right. There is also another product called In Stitch'z by Bazzill. They are great templates for hand sewing.

do you really need a really expensive sewing machine? (have duty thing) or not needed that much, just a simple travel sewing machine will work??...
