If you're wanting to keep the original russian style then you messed it all up with the ribbed dust cover. The milled AK's have a smooth dust cover. The stamped AK's have the ribbed dust cover. Just letting you know.

It's a REPLICA, the FLASH HIDER is fitted on the gun to resemble the real AK47 series of rifles. I doubt you ever have handled a real Kalashnikov also, they all come with a flash hider that is removable by spinning it in the direction the threads were made. They want it to be realistic not fucking look like a piece of shit dollar store toy.

On average, how much did you spend on this weapon and the modifications? Because my out of the box airsoft gun "Cyma 042 full metal/wood" got 430 fps out of the box and it cost me 200 dollars including bbs and shipping and handling :P

The only winter games I play in are in Arizona. Okay, I admit it, I played in one the other day in Canada, and yes I was too chicken to run red gas, so I ran a CA AK74U that a friend loaned me. The funny thing though, is that I test fired one of my gas guns and it worked fine, but I didn't want to run it since I wasn't sure about reliability once it got cold. Meanwhile the cold and snow shut down at least a dozen AEG's! No joke. So nothing is really reliable in winter games.

My CYMA Cm.o48 was chronoed at 411 fps with .20g BB's. Cyma is great, oh, and that was straight out of the box too.

I KNOW what an airsoft is, technically speaking you CAN adapt it with SOME of the real parts of an AK 47, although other parts such as the Magazine would NOT work due to some limitations, In that case its the feed, it would feed 7.62 rounds it feeds 6mm plastic bbs instead

Actually the weight of the bbs you use depends on how much fps your guns can produce. .25 is good with around 450 fps. BTW bro aluminum is way better than brass barrels. Aluminum is a lot lighter.
