No you cannot turn off the blue led's on the 120mm fan on the window as far as I know. You probably could rig up a switch and put it in one of the pci slots but I would not know how to do that off the top of my head.

I don't think you can turn off LED but at least you can unplug the fans with the LED, but the lights aren't so glaring like I thought it was. In fact it is a little too dark for my liking, with the tinted glass window.

But overall it is a kick ass case:) The fans are kinda loud though, would suggest a sentry 2 to go with the case:)

I had this case before a house fire ate it. it was a good case. the only issue I had was my power supply barely had long enough wires to get to my mobo, the power strips died after a month of owning.. which I wasn't too fond of anyways and cleaning the filters was a pain and since I live on a dirt road I had to do it often.

Well if mother is not removable important to know if the back cover ( the other side of the case) is removable (its riveted on some cases). Cause if its removable and motherboard tray has a hole for a custom HSF I can fasten or take off HSF without disturbing mother from moving it out of the case.

I LOVE it´s not aluminium but steel.,

(aluminium cases can get dented if you move the around a lot...)

I love the styling.

The only thing I dont realy like is that the drive-bay section s visible through the window

depends, the tempest to me looks cooler, has more airflow fits e-atx boards, and very capable of good watercooling, that being said the interior is silver the cable management is lacking, its not aluminum and has very tight spacing on the inside for work...if i were you id go with the antec 902 out of those choices...but i would also maybe check out a good cooler master case like the storm scout, storm sniper or the HAF 932...hope this helps and check out my channel

I am looking to buy a new case soon, and a lot of the NZXT cases look so badass. I dont know if I should go w/ the Antec or Coolermaster equivalents in price though...

I just made a mail order for this really awesome looking case and i was wondering about the general noise that the case makes and how solid the Tempest is.

My current chasis is totaly... Horrible... My current case for some reason starts to "tremble" when i do some hard work with the HDD:s or use some very demanding 3D stuff.

No mate, I run it just fine, you can plug the fans with standard power connectors or you can plug them( some of them because there's alot) to the motherboard (sysfan) to control the fan and see its speed.

Thanks for helping, though a little to late:) Well, i got this case 5 days ago. And what i did was to firs of all connect the fan on the rear side of tha case to ''chassie fan'' on MB, nad then just 'serie-plugged' the to top fans. I did the same thing to 2 x fron fan + the fan at side door. Only this time i connected them to ''front panel fan' on the MB:)

This..the antec 900 doesn't have dust filters, also this case is bigger so you have more room to work with. Finally the tempest's side window is larger so you can see more of the hardware.

Yes, it does. Go to NZXT's website. Go to google and type in NZXT. Then go to their site. Pick your location and then put your cursor on the Products and then put your Cursor on Classic, then click M59. It does fit all High End 10.5 inch Graphics Cards. So it will fit the 260. Not to mention its only 60 bucks. XD
