@elvarwinston Go for the micro cube (or a cube 15xl)...both the models are really gud & u wont be disappointed with it's performance irespective of the genre u play. I havent used a Line 6 spider, but from what i've heard is dat the line 6 spider is a good amp....but not as good as the Roland cubes! :)

Well there is a 'tone' knob, which, essentially, accounts for bass through to treble.

Well, I hate the demos where they just do this noodling solo crap because you don't get an idea of what an amp sounds like without playing a few chords, but just going through half the settings with the same out of tune guitar and the same arpeggio "house of the rising sun" knockoff is no better. I don't know what it is with gearwire, but none of them ever tune their guitars. They all should have to do a mandatory chromatic tuner demo at the beginning of the day, befor they are allowed near amps

look up harmonic tuning and youll understand it....just use the that A to mach the A string on your guitar and use harmonic tuning to get the rest of the strings where you want them

Good demo - these little amps are simply awesome! I can't praise them enough - I use one in my tiny home studio and they get great tones - check out my blues sounds demo where I run through a few styles etc...

yeah, you can't play with a drummer because it's not loud enough, but i played a couple of paul gilbert/yngwie solo's and other stuff on my own, it works just fine for that kind of thing, even in a big hall :-)
