Madden 09 Tips #3 Effective Blitzes (Part 1)

Slide line left, audible slot slant, or cross over middle. Drift QB left quick pass = huge gain. Or audible HB screen if u have one set. Pass to HB, get nasty with the highlight stick or spin moves = huge gain. Nice blitzes though, they take to long to set up though. I'd get the play off before you get the LBs in gap positions.

the second one the 3-4 sting pinch zone will work well as long as not against a person who screens a lot

nice blitz tho you are in what, a practice mode... ? 10 plus seconds to set up the blitz is to long. if you play online people will see it coming a mile away. slide the line and you are covered enough to get a pass off

Franchise mode tips? Make good decisions during the draft. And wait til some good players contracts expire so you can sign them.

try 46 Bear - Outside Blitz. Filp the play before you select it. Then shift your LBs to the right while they are breaking the huddle. Put the defensive end furthest to the left in a qb spy or a contain, both have their own advantages. i prefer spy on this play. you can also make it cover 4 by switching your SS (the left purple zone guy) to a deep zone. then highlight the slot receiver or runningback and watch him squeel.

thats why you dont use the blitz every play. Its all about mixing it in and making the right adjustments to each blitz for you to get the most success out of it.

I really like the 4-3 blitz plays but seem that those 3-4 blitz might get recognize by better player. Good tips though.

not too great, looks almost like your in a realy low setting. i like 2:15 though, that might work (if the RB goes out on pass like he did.
