  • dam he missed you....im gutted

  • Dont ride in the middle of the road, to bad you didn't get run over and died.

  • I don't understand why people say this guys in the middle of the road?? Where's he meant to go? in the bike lane that doesn't exist? He's pretty close to the edge.

  • Keep the likes and dislikes NEUTRAL!

  • i liked your video, because u nearly gt hit because of your stupidity (being in the middle of the road annoying other road users)

  • @TheSelfIndulgence only stupidity shown here is your comment (and so many similar), one -he didn't do anything illegal, two if you're risking somebodys life only because you get annoyed by loosing 2 seconds in traffic you should never be let on the road for safety of people who aren't mentally disabled like you (and the likes of you posting stupid comments here)

  • You're in the middle of the fucking road you twat! Get the fuck to the side of the road! I've watched a few of your vids and I think YOU are the problem. It's like you just look for trouble! It seems you just try to piss drivers off!

  • hey DUDE, your not suppose to use a Bike on a Freeway... ASSHOLE...

if i was driving I WILL HIT YOU...

  • @barryjohnrubi we dont have freeways in the uk..

  • your not the bloody police mate, your a prat on a bike, using the roads for free, filming paying road users. Fair game I say!

  • fear not..coming soon, petrol £3 a litre...that should sort things out..........nicely

  • people only LIKE the fact you nearly get hit by cars, and the other people DISLIKE your videos.

  • Dude, i'm not happy about this Vids.

I'm cyclist too but u're driving *serious* like shit.

Don't drive on the road like an idiot.

    Arschloch

  • typical cyclist...stop riding in the centre of the lane!!!!! as if you own the road...and stop getting in the way of cars....line up at the traffic lights and wait....if you keep deliberately riding in front of cars you will eventually be hit!!!!! but when you're in hospital with two broken legs, two broken arms or worse, keep repeating and take comfort with these words...'filtering is legal...filtering is legal....filtering is legal'....I'm sure it will aid your recovery...

  • @no1dagboy so cyclist obey the law, you don't, and you still say its the cyclists fault? Do you blame the raped woman for wearing a short skirt too?

  • why do you behave like this? first overtaking all of these cars then driving in the middle of the road and as a result of that you slow down everyone else, i mean its obvios that something like this would happen... whats wrong with you, i'd be pissed too if i'd have been in this car. i'm glad that cyclist in germany don't act like that...

  • @TheHelicopterHomer Filtering in the between cars is legal in the UK but in this case he's just overtaking stationary traffic. When stopped at the lights he placed himself so he could be seen in the mirrors of the car in front, and the car behind can also see him. Stopping on the inside risks getting hit by left turning traffic. What the cyclist did is called stopping in a PRIMARY position. Look that up. The single occupant cars stuck in traffic jams slow you down not bikes

  • @CapitalMover well i live in germany and i don't know your traffic rules, i'm just sayin, it'd piss me off too if someone would first overtake me at the traffic lights and then slows me down by driving in the middle of the road. i mean people over here don't do things like that either...

  • @TheHelicopterHomer I'd say you shouldn't really be driving in any country if you're that easily pissed off. The entire point of that road positioning is so you can see the cyclist.

  • @CapitalMover lol, i also see a cyclist if he's not driving in the middle of the road. i mean what is it good for if car drivers see him very good but he almost gets hit if they try to overtake?

and just so you know, i never caused an accident with my car, there's a difference between just getting pissed off and getting pissed off so bad you can't control your actions anymore. i also never had an accident with my bike, and i never drive in the middle of the road...

  • @TheHelicopterHomer Most cyclists are killed by left tuning vehicles, because the bike is positioned in a cars blind spot, that means the cyclist positioned himself to minimize that posibility. Had he not,the car may have still passed equally close but he would not have had any room to move left and would have possibly been killed. If you get pissed off so much that you think passing that close is acceptable then yes you are a danger and should not be behind a wheel.

  • @CapitalMover thats why you check your blind spot before you turn right, or left (in UK). you won't get a driver's license over here if you don't do this every time you turn right. in germany thats called "schulterblick"...

i don't know if i would have passed him or not, depends on the situation.

  • @TheHelicopterHomer If we could trust drivers to always check their blind spots and always give us enough room then there would be no need for this type of defensive cycling.Car\van\lorry driver just don't do that here. I agree they should but they just don't. Until then I will cycle defensively like this and I suggest you do the same if you ever cycle here otherwise you'll be dead pretty quickly

  • @TheHelicopterHomer You said it yourself; You'd be pissed off too. Well, that shows you should not be in control of a vehicle until you can control your emotions and therefore actions..

  • @strippzy lol so you wanna tell me you always stay calm in your car..? honestly it's quite easy to piss me off but i don't overreact and do stupid things, so don't tell me i shouldn't be able to control my actions...

  • cyclists are supposed to stay on the INSIDE of the road next to the pavement, or at least that was what i was taught in school when a cyclist instructor came...

  • @fsriders you are wrong and please stop driving until you know the rules of the road

  • @fsriders That would be a stupid thing to do here. You still need to use lane disapline. If he would of stuck in the left lane he probably would of been side swiped by cars turning left..

  • Why are people saying the bikes road positioning isn't correct? He's placed himself in front of the escort so the driver can see hes there, which is the safe correct position. Once he passes the junction he'd begin to position left allowing cars to safely pass. Are people expecting the bike should be by the kerb at the lights? If so thats a sure way the get hit by left turning cars. It worries me when car drivers see this sort of video and only see a cyclist blocking them.

  • dont ride in the MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING LANE

    wanker

  • He didn't like the fact you were going slower then he was. If you cant keep up to the speed of other vehicles then your obstructing traffic. Maybe next time instead of passing everyone at a red light and having them all repass you why dont you wait at the back knowning your going to be back there anyway

  • "any further down the road i could of ended up in the barrier" i would of laughed alot harder..

  • @manonmoon12 IM laughing because you can't spell it's spelt a lot.

  • @Toytoytoyt alot widely considered as an incorrect/nonstandard spelling of "a lot"

maybe you should go look it up?

  • @manonmoon12 Look, It is not acceptable to spell it alot in england maybe in shitty america but not in england.

  • Comment removed

  • @Toytoytoyt funny.. since i live in england

  • Comment removed

  • you almost caused an accident

  • Do you know what is the hardest part of learning to ride a bike?

    The pavement.

  • Yes his road positioning isn't correct, however the blue Escort is in the wrong, not the cyclist. Filtering is legal, the Escort driver just decided to drive dangerously and out of the bounds of the law just because it might save them 15 seconds.

  • Lol jump the queue then ride in the middle of the road taking up the entire lane. Looks like your far more obnoxious than the drivers. Anything that takes up the entire lane (you) and goes to slow (you) should be charged with obstructing traffic. They do the same with cars so why not cyclists who use whole lanes for no reason?

  • you really are a bit of a tit, you were in the middle of the lane for fuck sake.

really you need to get some highway code training .

  • you deserved that

  • I don't see any problem here.... was anybody hit? no so if you don't like being close to cars don't be on the road

  • he may have been in the middle but that didn't give the car the right to almost hit him!

  • i agree you were in the middle nice way to get yourself killed cos obviously the car wont be bothered when your underneath it really makes me laugh bikers with cameras youre not invincible because you have a camera ok itll help you feel better but not when your under a car or lorry and before you get rude think about it

  • did you just go riding about with a camera to see what bad driving you could record and put on youtube?

  • cyclist are mugs

  • You cut that car off.....I know many people would do the same.

I think it is kindergarden that we talk about waiting your turn.

  • You cut that car off.....I know many people would do the same.

I think it is kindergarden that we talk about waiting your turn.

  • I keep watching your videos. My conclusion? Get off the bike and buy a car. For everyone's sake.

  • Where I live in Missouri, there are no shoulders, very steep hills on top of very curvy (S-curves) roads.

When we pass we mean business.

There are very few opportunities to pass, even a bike, so if you are so unsafe as to bike on these road conditions you better be prepared for a close not dangerous pass, I have control of my vehicle do you have control of yourself?

  • What did you expect?

Do you have a death wish?

You can't play both sides, passing willy nilly, cutting in front and expect the driver behind you to not be pissed when you chug out.

  • Wow, my understanding here in the states and of course in my particular state is that you had the right of way of the lane and the car had the right to pass. But not at the sake of your safety. He cut you off plain and simple. Had you hit him it would have been his fault for clipping your lane.

  • I bet if car drivers started uploading videos of cyclists who don't know what a red light is, what a cycle lane is, what a lane is, and the fact it is totally illegal to use the pavement, cyclists would kick up a right fuss. Double standards...

  • Again like all your videos you are in the middle of road blocking the lane. If you moved over you would not have any videos to post.

  • I AM a cyclist, but you want all the privileges of a car (middle of the lane) but the advantages of a bike (splitting the lanes to jump ahead at the lights) and then complain when someone gets too close. Cycling like this makes is tough for cyclists to get the respect they want. If you want to split traffic, then stay to the edge of the road. If you want to ride in the middle of the lane, then wait in line (or lane) like everyone else!

  • i hate cyclist using video and license plate against drivers im gonna start to record them and make my own license plate for em u gonna go in to get a drink and come back with a fucken license plate on ur bike

  • @jack5161996 Brilliant idea, especially if you will pay for the drink. Mines a beer. :-)

  • @magnatom haha plz record if u ever drink and ride at the same time now that would be a good video "awww fuck off u cunt"

  • @magnatom but u wont get beer, u get something that looks like beer LMAO at u!!!!!!!

  • this dude lives off dangerous driving, you love it, seems like your asking for it just so you can upload a vid

  • That happend to me one time :(

  • You are one of those dickhead cyclists who uses the road like the rest of the traffic when it suits you and forgets the rules of the road when they don't suit you. You can't cut in to a queue like that. Why don't you join the back of the line like everyone else does? Why do you ignore the lanes? Of course, the driver was an idiot too. But remember, if you are going to be an idiot on a bike, you will always come off second best to the idiot in the car if ye get too close

  • First of all, you weren't anywhere close to the gutter you whiner. Second, I wish you were in the gutter cuz that's where you belong. You should NOT be in the middle of the lane holding up traffic. It's a fact: you're slower than cars so get the fuck out of the way asshole

  • U should have chased him down the road and shouted at him

  • hes lucky that he didnt ride close to me would have smashed his window with some ballbarings i get from work

  • I must agree with other posters, I personally think that you should be slower, and have then come to the front and made the 3rd car think he is behind the slow car.

Keep in your own lane and follow the flow of traffic and you will have no problem,

save my id and when somone hits you off the road, Ill help you get compensation

  • I am gonna have to support the cars on this one as the cars go faster and you passed them (would be illegal how you did it in the United States) just to go slower than them. I would of passed you too and probably gave a hand gesture. Be careful out there. Bikes do have rights to but come on look at how you passed them.

  • Mate you have posted more than 1 of these cyclists 'shock' videos. You sound like a big trouble maker to me. Riding up between cars is illegal where I am, and for good reason, it is dangerous. Cyclists MUST learn their place in the pecking order on the road, just as a car driver knows his place when a truck comes past. YES, the bigger and heavier you are, naturally the less vulnerable you become. Nothing changed since 9 million years ago in the dinosour era. Use bike lanes and stop crying!!!

  • @spindrift1quote : "Saying the cyclist is at fault for being on the road is like saying women diserve to be raped for wearing a skirt" LOL, nicely found !

  • That's why I always hold something we call "écarteur de danger" in my left hand to prevent close overtakes. It's a kind of orange plastic arm with a reflector on the tip. If I was you, I wouldn't let him get away with it. Go to the closest police station and report that incident, he will have to face charges and lose some points on his drivers license.

  • you should have hit the car with your fist as hard as possible, then they stop and u can actually swear to their faces.

  • Just returned from a cruise to Bermuda and saw idiots like you all over the place. Can't really pity them when they finally get nailed.

  • I would have had a cheeky look around at the driver while I was at the lights.

  • That car was close, im always considerate to cyclists but its so annoying when one cyclist takes up an entire lane of the road.

Dont ride in the gutter but a little closer to the side of the road would be better.

  • two lanes... why are you in the middle? bikers do the same hate that..

  • @LeeWoodsPhotography to an extent i agree with you in the sense that filtering can indeed be dangerous, but in this case there was plenty of room, and tom put himself into such a position that he could unquestionably be seen by the car behind, and all whilst the traffic was stationary; it's not like he filtered through and cut up the escort driver. As in 99.99% of road accidents though, if there is a nose to tail accident, someone gets hit from behind, it is ALWAYS the fault of the driver behind

  • @rockshox101avidjuicy (with the exception of drivers causing accidents to put through false accident/injury claims which has been done. I got rear-ended when i was learning to drive on a roundabout and the dude knew it was his fault (Had probably been in a few accidents before) and even admitted fault at the time - one thing that even insurance companies advise against lol

  • m8 seriusly fing a girlfriend

  • Traffic rules aside, I know of cyclists using a dangerous local road who have welded a piece of rebar (with flag) across the rear of their bicycle. When cars overtake, they keep distance.

  • @LeeWoodsPhotography So you're claiming that because it's a slight inconvenience to the driver behind the cyclist to not accelerate as fast as they can, they can justify hitting the cyclist who is clearly visible from their winsdscreen, being that he's about a foot infront of it. Dangerous? it can be, but in this situation, the only danger is the retarded driver behind the rider. The rider not being seen by drivers is in most instances surprisingly not down to the rider.

  • Gotta say i'm surprised at the amount of hate you get from other users here... if everyone on the roads actually acted like these guys i wouldn't ride, but i do. Gotta say your videos have inspired me to use my helmet cam whilst on the road to help in such situations.

  • @LeeWoodsPhotography

That's a law, or a rule in the highway code is it? No. I can tell you without you looking it up, cyclists have every right to a full carriageway if they feel that they need to (if they think its safest)

  • grow some balls and beat some ass!!!

  • oh, poor, poor boy. cry me a river.

  • Why you decided to cruise up through 90% of the traffic only to stop behind the last two cars I'll never know. Take your seat at the back of the line like every other vehicle on the road, you jerk off.

Way to give cyclists a bad name.

  • You are a cunt.

  • Driver pulled a stupid stupid move. On the other hand, YOU ARE NOT A CAR! I see cyclists doing the most idiotic things in traffic. We share the road with you.... That doesn't mean you own the road damn it.

  • As a cyclist of 40 years experience I am totally appalled by what I see on these videos. The standard of riding this person demonstrates it's no wonder there are so many near misses, he causes 90%+ of them then blames the other road users. This is the sort of person that causes road rage that would then potentially put a decent cyclist in danger further up the road. No I'm not defending road rage at all but I can understand it when I see just how this person causes problems for others road users

  • @billmclaren1 Sounds similar to the stories you hear about old Aunt Bess. 'She smoked all her life and look at her now, shes still a happy healthy 95 year old woman.....smoking mustn't be bad for you after all.....'

What sort of cycling do you do? What way is there an issue with my cycling style? And I'd be fascinated as I cause 90% of the incidents, how do I 'cause' a driver to pass me too close. Mind control perhaps! :-)

  • I would be pretty pissed too if some bike rider came up from behind and plopped his arse down in front of my car only to ride in the middle lane as slow as he wants... In Canada we all that obstruction of traffic.

  • @ClubCrew Well I'm glad I don't live in Canada. If you are correct (I suspect you aren't) then your laws are worse than those in the US! Imagine that...Canada worse than the US.... ;-)

  • @magnatom it is worse in canada, gay country with gay ass laws, what you did was wrong mate weather its legal or not, cyclists should always at all time ride on the side of the road, because some of us hate being stuck behind cyclists, i drive and ride so i know what it feels like

  • @ClubCrew You get in the lane you want in advance of being there, rather than change lanes at the last minute. Also, the UK highway code states that a cyclist should be given as much space as a car to stop this kind of thing happening.

  • @ClubCrew So you'd cut them up the same dangerous way. That's what you're implying.

  • @catbells69 No I don't chop peoples bodies up. Usually I just dump them in a shallow grave and bury them. No but seriously, I don't condone what the driver did (I never said I did). I said I too would have been pissed, accept I would have done the responsible thing and called the police. At least in my country I believe filtering is illegal and considered dangerous.

  • @ClubCrew I used to live in Canada and the motorists are more considerate there, at least in the backwater that is Fredericton. I've no idea what Canadian rules are on filtering. Despite being legal in the UK, you can't trust motorists to behave in a proper manner.

  • @ClubCrew That's not called obstruction of traffic. If the next time I'm biking in Edmonton (which is this weekend) and you try to kill me by pulling a stunt like that, you're getting a 10 lb steel bike lock through your rear window. If your driver's side window is down, look out.

  • @wagonman01 I never said I would pull a stunt like that driver did. I also never said he/she was right for pulling a dangerous stunt like that. What I did say is I would be annoyed if a cyclist came from behind me at a red light, stopped in front of me, only to start moving forward very slowly when the light turned green. Also, thank you for posting pointless threats online so everyone knows how much of a stupid child you really are. Grow up.

  • @ClubCrew When people think it's legit to risk ending someone's life (mine) in order to to save 3 seconds of their time (and then get stuck at the next set of lights anyway), then yes, you're going to get my steel bike lock through your rear window, or if I catch up to you - through your windshield. My life is NOT worth your damn 3 seconds. Bicycles are still considered legal on city roads. There are road signs that say SHARE THE ROAD in Calgary/Edmonton.

  • @wagonman01 You keep saying "you", "you're", and "your". Do you really not understand when I said I would never pull a stunt like that?

Besides, why couldn't this cyclist just stay at the back of the line instead of "filtering" if saving those "3 seconds" are not important? Why do cyclists always feel the need to annoy somebody else, then point a finger and go "AH HA! CAUGHT YOU!" when that person gives them the reaction they tried so hard to get?

  • @ClubCrew Look up "Lane Splitting" on Wikipedia. It's legal in the UK.

You suffer from the mentality of pigeonholing people. You assume that as a cyclist, I don't understand jack shit about driving. I built my Subaru from the ground up, I drive it at the track, but I cycle at the same time. I afford respect to cyclists. Here in Canada, we don't need to filter because we have bike lanes, but understand that it's LEGAL where the video is.

  • @wagonman01 I know what lane splitting is, and I agree with it. I still do not see the need for this cyclist to filter only to plop his ass down in front of a vehicle effectively obstructing the driver. He (A) Could have stayed at the back of the line of traffic or (B) at least stayed between the vehicles as to not obstruct anybody. Notice how in countries where filtering is legal the cyclists stay between vehicles and they don't line up in front?

  • @ClubCrew It was a narrow road, and he was behaving as a vehicle on the road. He can't stay in between cars when it starts to narrow. The very attitude of "he's obstructing traffic" is very wrong. He's not going 20kph down Whitemud. He's in traffic with other cars, and it's stupid to get pissed off (as a driver) that you can't pull up that extra 5 ft to the bumper of the car in front of you. He caught up with the traffic anyway. Why rush just to wait at the next light? And risk someone's life?

  • @wagonman01 Its common sense to say that if its taking up a whole lane and going to slow its obstrucing traffic. On ALL of his videos he uses the whole lane while knowing full well he can't keep up with traffic. How is that not obstructing? It's just against logic to say its not an obstruction.

  • @mrdojob Right. And in all of his videos, he catches up to the car at the next light. So you can't just think about that carrot dangling in front of your face, think about the fact that he would have been right there with the car at the stoplight anyway. What's the hurry in being able to stop at the next light? I drive, too, and regardless if I go fast or slow, I'm always at work within a 1-2 minute window. Slow buses don't "obstruct traffic" because you can't bully them. But bikes...?

  • @wagonman01 Ok lets not get other vehicles or law into this ok and answer yes or no to the following questions.

    1. Is he in the middle of the lane?

    2. Is he going under the speed limit?

    3. Does he know he can't keep up with with the speed limit?

  • @mrdojob Bicycles are treated as a vehicle the same as other vehicles, but okay I'll answer your questions.

    1. Yes, because if he goes to the side, some cars will try to dangerously squeeze past him.

    2. Yes, and this point is irrelevant in stop-go traffic.

    3. Yes, and again irrelevant because of the stop-go traffic. Do you see him doing this on the highway? Nope.

By your logic, old grandmothers shouldn't be walking down the sidewalk because they obstruct the flow of pedestrians.

  • @wagonman01 Well if you care to watch his other videos you will see he is a road hog with a chip on his shoulder who causes acts of road rage for pleasure. Why are you saying that he SHOULD block all the traffic. He just clearly cut up the whole queue and held it up when he could have gotten to the side. I don't care if its legal its still obnoxious to do that. He also rides on all roads in the middle of the lane and bicycles are not the same as motor vehicles. He's just a dick who blocks roads.

  • @mrdojob No, he's making a stand, and rightfully so, by saying that he has the same rights as other vehicles. You actually believe you have MORE of a right to be on the road because you're in a car? What utter folly. You don't have any additional privilege other than not needing to burn any calories. Think of how absurd you sound - cars have to come to a complete STOP when pedestrians are crossing, but you get irate at having to slow down a little bit?

  • @wagonman01 You know its legal for me to stand in the road cos when im on it i have right of way. I don't do that tho cos I know its stupid. Just cos its legal don't make it right. Bicycles might be the same as cars highway code wise but they are totally different for obvious reasons. Don't even think for one second they are the same.

Is it to much to ask for a cyclist to stick to the side of the road when they can?

  • @mrdojob When they can? Sure. I have no problems with that. I do that.

But if the road is literally one lane wide, I'm not going to let some jackass in a pickup truck think that maybe he can squeeze by me and threaten my life - my one and only life (which is precious to me) just for the sake of him getting to the next stoplight 8 seconds faster. I don't trust that he even knows how wide his truck is. Do you understand how valuable a life is?

  • @wagonman01 Then you need to watch this guy's videos. He hogs the entire lane on main roads just to piss people off. He just uploads video after video of him being a road hog.

  • @mrdojob Not really. He's just asserting that he has a right to the same road. I have the same helmet camera that he has, and it looks like there's a lot more space than there really is in the video. Trust me.

Do you know who actually hogs the whole road? Google "60 people car bus bike" and click on the first link, which should be a Flickr picture.

  • @wagonman01 That pic is not realy a good representation. You can fit up to 5 people in a car and not just 1. By that logic they should have 60 busses in the pic cos only 1 person is needed to drive it. If you ride a bike in the middle of the road it is pretty much irrelevant anyway cos you use the same room as a car anyway. For how much road they need compared to their sizes the hoggers are bicycles, cars then busses.

  • @mrdojob Earlier, you told me to ignore laws and a bike's fundamental right to be in the road, in favor of reality, and now, you choose to ignore that the reality is that most people who drive cars only have one passenger. Buses aren't always full. Bikes? Bikes always have at least one occupant. I can see that this debate is going nowhere.

  • @wagonman01 The picture is bias as hell. It was made by the eco warriors so what do you expect. The title of the pic is "space required to transport 60 people" not "number of people needed to operate the vehicle". To make the pic an accurate representation increase the number of busses to 60 or reduce the cars to 12.

  • @mrdojob And your viewpoint, disregarding the cyclists' right to use the road, isn't biased at all? I'm sorry my friend, this discussion will not go anywhere. Have a great day, and try to run any of us cyclists over, okay?

  • @wagonman01 lol dang he's proved the pic is a useless representation. To be honest if this guy went miles in the middle of a wide main road (which judging by his other videos he does all the time) he would piss anyone off including police cars behind him.

  • @mrdojob By the way i would also be seriously impressed if 5 cyclists can fit into the space of a small car.

  • @wagonman01 Also stop saying I am assuming/saying/implying/doing/sleeping or whatever when I have said nothing of the sort in my reply which is right there for you to review over and over. Once again, no where have I said "you don't understand jack shit about driving". If I did, I encourage you to review my comment, and pull out the exact words I said.

  • @wagonman01 Also, if you insist on continuing to post threats online, I will request your address so that I can come to you and save you the time of typing it all out. You could just say what you need directly to my face and we can go from there.

  • @ClubCrew Hahaha. See, the difference between you and me is that I'm TELLING you what I'd do if you tried to run me off the road, while you on the other hand, are not-so-subtly threatening me because I've pissed you off online. Grow some thicker skin, grow up, and get your fat ass on a bike. If you feel like a tough guy from inside your 3000 lb car, try getting in the bike lane and see what it's like from my point of view.

  • @wagonman01 Now you are posting insults with your threats. Very classy. I am not threatening you "not-so-subtly" I am saying that if you really feel those things, why not allow me to allow you to say them directly to me?

  • you are so stupid... ever in the middle of the lane... the car it's right!!!

  • @tomm77tn Perhaps you mean the driver is right....though you'd be wrong of course! :-)

  • i have been cycling for 15 years, the reason why we cycle close to the middle is the same reason why motorbike do, in the gutter there is alot gavel, dust and glass. it can be very easy for a cyclist to lose all taction. second if a cyclist is going at the speed limit (30) then why do cars seem to want to over take??

  • WTF are you doing in the middle of the road. you need someone to fucken smash yah you idiot

  • @theleboali Are you volunteering?

  • @theleboali I'm gonna go ahead and guestimate that the justification for your comment is that you're a pre-pubescent tit, and therefore that you get some sort of a kick out of such a remark on the interwebz? No-ones going to reward you for being such a "lad". You're just a cunt.

  • @theleboali Well, are you volunteering?

  • Comment removed

  • Interesting the number of people who comment and don't seem to appreciate what "primary" and "speed limit" mean.

Also - Is it me or can you see the person in the passenger seat with their hands to their face, perhaps covering their eyes?!

  • well, i've gotta say, drivers all over the world are crap indeed,

don't you dare go to any places like, india, china, etc, or your bike will end up in the scrapyard.

that frickin driver, I wonder how scared you was.

i had a feeling you was gonna fall off the bike, especially pulling that action.

  • knob head

  • dont drive iin the road moron. Them be metal cars thare!

  • people when waiting in traffic for lights to change get pissed off with bikes coming down the side of them and making it a possibility for the cycles to hit the car... you do it when at lights... which is just as dangerous to that the escort did plain and simple wait till the lights change rather then pissing people off

  • in america we don't filter because it pisses people off so keep taking video of you doing this i think its great. maybe one day you will think of the other people around you before you pass 3-4 cars and pull in front of them to go under the speed limit.

  • @ljturner2009 look at the phrase you use "under the speed limit", like that's a bad thing. It's the speed LIMIT, not the "mandatory minimum speed", you imbecile! It's only SAFER for EVERYONE to go slower. Sorry you stressed-out, speed-addict drivers can't see that, but delusions are a bitch, I guess...

  • The idiot remarks by non-cyclists just goes to show you how shallow the gene pool is. They're ignorant and dangerous drivers who do not know the rules of safe driving.

The cyclist was clearly and dangerously cut off. I hope he gave the video to the police who issue the driver a citation.

Anyone who thinks about doing this should try getting off their fat ass and riding a bike in and around traffic.

  • @msmckinney777 One of these times, @magnaton is going to be dead right. You may have the Highway Code Law on your side but you don't have the law of physics on your side. Good Luck!!

  • @msmckinney777

Maybe you should buy a car and stop obstructing traffic, if you're going to go slower than the posted speed on a road, then you shouldn't be on the road. You are not a motor vehicle.

  • @msmckinney777 i agree, but on the roads there is something more than rules.. it's common sense not to overtake ten cars waiting at a traffic light and then to ride in front of them like nothing happened.. if a car driver did that, he would have been fined. legally it's ok to ride in the middle of the lane, but he could have let a bit of room for the cars to overtake. i guess it won't matter too much that he obeyed the law when he will sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, god forbid

  • @tudorgui1992 The problem with common sense is that it's not "common". I don't know what the rules are there, here a motorcyclist is allowed to share a lane with a car, called lane splitting.

In several places in your response you seem to justify the car drivers actions. A car driver should NEVER be aggressive to a cyclist, motorcyclist or pedestrian. If they do, they should lose their driving privileges. This driver was clearly trying to prove a message using his car. THAT is dangerous.

  • So its ok for you to squeeze down the middle of 2 lanes of traffic & then pull infront of the offending car knowing full well your going to be slower away from the lights then the car. You need to think of other road users. Your an idiot!!!

If you hadn't of pulled in front of them they wouldn't of overtaken so close. Engage your brain you moron!!!

  • you were in the middle of the road you tosser, move over to the left you egg or the wife and kids ( you mentioned) might be I.D.ing road kill

  • on video looks very close, but maybe not in real....

  • He had all the rights to overtake you, no one is gonna drive behind you and watching the empty road in front of you.

  • Hahahaha!! You're such a fag!

Yeah wife and kids my ass!

Are they as good at riding bikes in the middle of the fucking road as you are!?

  • People driving in their lazy fat-ass cars.....I hope gas go up $20 per-gallon PLEASE!!!

  • why would you ride a bike between 2 lanes of traffic? That would get you killed in the United States.

  • GET OUT OF THE ROAD!!! i thought scottish people had enough to worry about, what, with the life expectancy of 35, the obligatory drug use and the fact that if you look someone in the eye they'll shank you. now you feel the need to put yourself in more danger by riding down the middle of 30mph roads at 10mph... THEN you complain when someone is going at a reasonable speed!!

    gimp

  • they make sidewalks for a reason... if you're gonna cry about the road then get off of it!

  • @byrnes362436 He's not crying about the road, he's pissed off about the driver that just put his life in danger, needlessly.

  • @byrnes362436 you must be the world's only driver who's never complained about someone else's driving.

  • Check out the douche on the bike at 0:33 - 0:41

  • I've had a VERY similar situation on my motorbike. I just overtook back... a luxury you don't have unfortunately. I completely understand how enraging this is

  • We have so many idiots on our roads. I am a car driver and a cyclist and it amazes me how selfish some people can be. He overtook you at such close range, putting your life in danger, just so he could he could get ahead of you.

  • @m0bob Kinda like how the cyclist weaved between all those cars at the light, and cut the blue car off, just so he could get ahead of everybody? :p

  • I think riding a 30 lbs vehicle inches from 2 ton vehicles stopped at a light is a little more safe than passing a 30 lbs vehicle with a 2 ton vehicle at 25 mph+ within inches. Call me crazy. (Besides which, filtering is often legal, for bikes and/or motorcycles).

  • I'm amazed he didn't clip you.

  • Everyone complaining about cyclists filtering through traffic, guess what.... it's not illegal!

"Cyclist slowing you down"... considering he's going at the speed limit or only slightly under there is nothing wrong there, as there isn't if you go slightly over the limit.

Driver of this car is disgraceful. If he hit him what would he say? Oh sorry it was an accident but he was in the way?? Well anyone who wants a football game, I'll slide in and break your leg.. Oh sorry, I was going for the ball

  • Damn cyclists. Leave the overtaking and weaving to us motor bikers and get off the road. Damn women,

  • @data90x as a motorcyclist myself i cant believe wat youre saying- we get shit all the time off other drivers for weaving so why should you have a go at a cyclist for doing the same?

  • The only road rager present was you, retard. Move to the side and stay out the fucking way. Stop at the back of the queue of cars like everyone else has to.

I'm a cyclist too, but even I think you're a bit of a fuckhead on the road.
