hey, i had some of the books in that encyclopedia series! not the exciting ones featured here, though. mine were full of questions like, "what's the deal with pajamas?", and various etiquette-type inquiries to encourage children to be seen and not heard wherever possible. and to always wear pajamas at night and never during the day. my grandma didn't want to scare me; she just wanted me to behave appropriately....i still like to switch the 'jammy thing up, though. sorry grandma.
The "Book Title...In Your Pants" game is very similar to a game I used to play as a kid. It was the "Fortune Cookie ... In Bed" game, where you add the phrase "in bed" to the end of your Fortune Cookie fortunes, to ensuing hilarity. The advantage of the Fortune Cookie game is that it's entirely random, it requires you to make no editorial choices. So you aren't personally responsible if your Cookie Fortune isn't as funny as your friends.
I used to have those time life books, brings back memories. Your hilarious by the way. :D
