Keep the socks unmatched in a basket in front of the TV... any kid says they are bored BOOM boredom cured.

the socks thing, it happens here too,the kids wont fold their stuff together and it just sits in the basket until i take care of it

@skydive1973cdr I am just as bad. I actually had to put unironed laundry into my closet becuase someone was coming over - a week ago - and it's still there.
I hate doing laundry.
