Whats up with the Fripp bashing. King Crimson kept this dino alive through thick and thin until 1974. They always brought an extra on tour (total of 3) because they were so tempermental but what a sound. I love seeing their stage set up with the mellotrons facing each other on either side. Check out stairway to Heaven live by LZ. Yep. JP Jones is playing a Mellotron.

Wow, so strange, today I almost cranked up my Mellotron which hasn't been played in 15 years, but rolled over and fell asleep instead. I go on Youtube and watch a couple of UK and Yes videos and I'm directed to Mellotron videos. Hmmm...Youtube, you trying yo tell me something?!

Great showing of this machine. I personally have one of these in much better shape that works. I also have the Novatron Mark V that Patrick Moraz of the Moody Blues used. Mellotrons are magnificent and if you think you haven't heard one- just remember the beautiful sounds of The Beatles "Strawberry fields". Way to go Mellotron.

I certainly appreciate honest people, but man, you know how to short sell yourself. It's good to be fair and open about problems, I like that in a buyer (and doesn't bullcrap me when he doesn't know either), but you'd almost forget there is still an amazing machine between those problematic bits. I hope you sold it a long time ago!
