  • does this apply to bass too?

  • the tuning that you mentioned in the end.. you sure it's not cgcfgc (lowered dadgad) ;p

  • hey thanks this really helped. van halen does this and you explained it perfectly.

  • what's the song he starts playing at 1:58? I can't remember the name and it's driving me up the wall.

  • finally remembered it after listening to the part for a bout 1.000 times: Soundgarden - Spoonman. Wow, now i can sleeep again :)

  • that is mint - when i get home i'm gonna thrash some hardcore riffs out.

  • How would you tune a guitar to F?

  • I don't know what kind of music requires you to 'tune to F' but use a capo on the first fret and you'll have F,A#,D#,G#,C,F - tuned to F.

  • oh ok thanks alot for replying. its for playing sum of led zeppelins songs

  • I meant you. oh ok cool.

  • He rocks so hard!

  • I bet your pedal is a GT-8 right?

  • Mine? or his?

    I used to have 1. I don't think Marc uses GT-8.

  • What pedal are u using? and what settigs u used on the pedal for that beautiful tone?

  • sry i don't know - im not marc seal

  • Hey! whats the tuning for each string in a Drop B tuning?:) thanks

  • Think you meant Drop D? Drop B is.. too much.. you could do it but you'll have to setup your guitar and adjust the truss rod, string action, what not.. Drop D = DADGBE

  • No, I meant drop B tuning. Anyway I've found the answer , so its ok.

  • what about the A and D string?

  • For this video? The A and D string and for the rest of the strings, go untouched when you do the D-tuning. The D-tuning is allows you to play bar chords by on the E (now D), A, and D strings just by pressing them all in one line. Hope that helps! (btw I'm not Marc Seal!!)

  • i know that your not but because you have his vids i though tu might play lol. thnx for the advice

  • thanks il try that

  • do you know how to tune the guitar down to E, A and D flat, because there is this metallica song that uses it in it?

  • Hey just to clarify, I'm not Marc Seal, aka the guy in there so I don't take credit for these videos.

Standar tuning on any guitar is.. from low to high EADGBe.

If you're saying a song has tuning of E A and D flat, you can lower the D string to half step down to D flat. D flat would be the 4th fret on A string so see if it matches if you don't have a tuner.
