@Kombucha639 Basically everything undergoes a chemical reaction and the end result is soap. If done correctly, there should no by any excess lye, so yes, it is safe to use. I actually prefer homemade soap to store bought.

Where do you get your palm oil? I could only find it at our health food store, and it was red palm oil, which had a terrible odor to it.
