However, the Bible is not a handbook on how to govern a nation (except for parts of the Torah, and even that was only for the nation of Israel). The purpose of the gospel is not to reform a nation, but to reform souls.

We know what he stands on - know that he will hold on to his beliefs and direct the country with those in mind. While others are stating they will not use their faith to gauge their moral compass for the country - I have to ask ... what will they use? I have been a Christian my entire life but lately I have been very disappointed with Jesus. Why hasn't he descended from the clouds yet and personally endorsed Huckabee (preferrably on the O'Reilly Factor)? I am starting to think that maybe Jesus is an Islamo-facist. This kind of pandering is unacceptable by someone running for President. He is making a "religious test," something explicitly denied in the Constitution(Article VI).
Vote on record and capability, not on how "Christian" he is.

Huckabee was asked about National Intelligence Estimate more than a day after it appeared in the news. Says Iran stopped its nuke weapons program. Mike didn't know anything about it.
Does he know who's Prime Minister of the UK? Can he name largest city in Iraq? Locate Iran on a map?
He has theology degrees (studying interpretations of the Bible) but no other background. Eminently qualified to be Baptist clergy but beyond that...

Huckabee might have executive experience, but what about foreign policy knowledge, economic knowledge on a national scale with the debt. People in Arkansas call him Tax Hike Mike, he screwed up education in Arkansas and by using religion to manipulate, it shows his true character of being fake.

He is by far the most experience candidate in the entire race.
That is not an opinion, it is a Fact. There are only 2 Governors and 1 Mayor running and Huckabee is by far the most experienced of them.
There are a lot of things you can try to say about Mike Huckabee, but not being experienced is not one of them.

I would consider Richardson fairly "experienced" as well. He and Huckabee have executive experience (as well as Romney)

Yes, Bill Richardson is definitely very experienced.
Can't stand his politics, but he does have an unbelievable amount of experience and is by far the most experienced Democratic Candidate with Biden coming in a distant second.

Not so sure about Romneys electability though. He won by an extremely close margin (only got 50% of the vote) and was pandering to a state full of liberals at the time. And he didn't run again.
Huckabee was reelected as Gov. of Arkansas twice and got nearly 50% of the African American vote. Giuliani won twice in New York City.
IMHO Romney is no where close to Huckabee or Giuliani experience wise.

He has zero experience in national security (all the agencies) national defense (all the armed forces), foreign policy (foreign policy, foreign leaders). No time for on-the-job training.
Rudy is better qualified than Huck, esp. on national security.

You don't need foreign policy experience to be good at it. Look at Ronald Reagan: zero foreign policy experience. A president never does everything all by himself either. He has a cabinet with people who help him to have the wisdom he needs to make the right decisions.

Blonde Director, read speechs made by the founding fathers of this great Nation. They were men who believed deeply in their faith. There is a difference in having a candidate who is open about his faith and having the STATE or Government endorse a specific religion and tell you that it WILL be the religion of the State. You have the freedom in something or nothing at all. You also have the right to NOT vote for Mike Huckbee. For me....I am voting Huckabee.

every inception of every empire/nation began with some sort of religious foundations. So, it pretty much has everything to do with it. Only recently (20th cent.) has church and state been attemtpted to be separated from eachother.
