The interviewer's accent is the most stupid... you can tell from the very, very dumb mistakes he makes and the unmistakable that he's Dutch. Even 'better' (sarcastic), he's from the same province, by the sound of it even very close to my hometown. (I'm Dutch too, so it's not something against Dutch people).

Seaman is actually a correct word, just more in the direction of 'man of the sea' ;) Sailor is more common maybe, but it's definitely a normal word.

ya its tough. i've been to germany, and they're a bit more mature about things like that over there. And they go for direct translations, too. They speak great english, all things considered, so i give them credit for that.
