@nw0n Keep practicing switching/changing chords faster and faster. It's slow at first, especially when your finger tips are hurting but lighter strings and time makes that go away
and just practice going back and forth through the chords. You'll be surprised that when you let it sit in your mind overnight you are better the next day. Not to step on Justin's teaching if he's already said any ot that.
i'm proud of myself lol, i can do all of this and i am only on stage 2 of your beginners course, even the muting :3 thanks, you are amazing at teaching. i always understand these lessons, even though i'm just watching videos. it's great :D
You are awesome, I love your videos.. I will give you a video response soon of what I have learned from your lessons (which is quite a lot). Thanks a ton from my end of the world!!!
Justin i am a huge fan :) I was wondering could you do a lesson for Give it away by the Red Hot Chili Peppers please!! Just seen them last night in Dublin and they were incredible. Thank you
This is an off topic question, so please forgive me. I've been watching your videos since I started playing guitar, and I've always sort of thought that you were from the UK. But your website says that you're from Tasmania, Australia. You sound like an Englishman to me, not an Aussie. Why is this? Am I just crazy?
Thanks Justin! After a week, I can now play this at 90% speed of the actual song (Motorhead did a solid cover to follow along with). The Em - D is the hardest chord change but once you have that it becomes very doable. I figure that when I get to playing at actual speed, I should be likely fast enough to approach the verses with the different rhythm. Can't tell you how great it is to wrap up a practice with a fun song to play!
hay Justin, you got my funny bone again as always. I get good lessons and you cheer up my day at the same time. im abt a lvl 6 or 7 playing so I get your beginner foundation of the song and add the sus and so forth as you have tought me. Im one of the ppl you talk abt that cant pay for lessons and you got me where I am after a bad accident and gettin my left wrist crushed. you have showed me different ways to get around chords my wrist wont preform . thanks again mate
Hiya Justin, every video you do is great and your teaching is awesome (along with your humour) Please could you do The Pogues - Fairytale Of New York? Just in time for me, and prob many others to learn for Christmas. Thanks for all your hard work and sharing your knowledge! I'll now watch this video and have a crack at it. Cheers bro!
As the Yanks say "you knocked it out of the park". Simple enough to let a musically challenged person like me to even attempt singing along. My neighbours will hate you.
I know this is for beginners, but I like to play this at the 5th & 7th positions with barre chords, I think going up to the Em instead of down to it sounds closer to the record, but
It's an AWESOME song however you play it. Thanks for the extra strumming pattern at the end, I've never played that bit before.
please help me out! my boyfriends got a audition soon and we need some help on Ed-Sheeran Lego House, if any one can help me please comment! thanks so much! Justin youve helped me so much:) thankyo ♡u!
Really good song choice for us beginners. So much so that even I might have a chance at get this one to a recognisable stage!! Keep it up, a squillion subscribers can't be wrong!!
@MrTalkingGlove I thought so too, but I listened to record again more closely and it's Em. Some other people on youtube plays the major chord and it just sounds wrong. The original version uses bar chords, though, which sounds a bit different than this beginners version. I guess that the A-D-E progression is so common and stuck in our brains that we take it for granted.
@JustinSandercoeSongs I think many of online teachers underestimate the value of singing while showing how to play the song, when u start learning new song/strumming especially its hard to keep in mind singing part :)
What rude people! Thanks for continuing to add to the Beginner's songs videos. These are really helpful, particularly when getting the rhythm down right.
@Smielle1 Are you trying to say that no new people start learning? They are clearly marked as "very easy", so don't watch them if you don't need them. Other people appreciate them.
@janek1978 No, im not saying that at all. But for the past few months all i see are beginner courses. Did i say i did not appreciate them? And since when is it a crime to tell my opinion? If i think they are boring, well sorry they are.
@Smielle1 I know dude, but I can't do everything all at once!! Right now I'm going to continue the beginners songs, but I've also started the classic solos series, and about to launch a blues rhythm guitar thing on my other channel. On top of developing apps, writing a series of books and trying to practice and better myself, I have more than enough on my to do list already!!
@JustinSandercoeSongs hey Justin you are amazing! it would be really cool if you could teach us High Hopes By Pink Floyd when you get some time to do it. thank u so much for teaching us this great stuff!!
@Smielle1 Justin has done hundreds of lessons already that are aimed at more advanced players. And remember there are more people beginning to play the guitar than people who are experienced.
@JustinSandercoeSongs I disagree J. Don't put 'ya self down. There are plenty of people on Youtube only to quick to do that. I just ignore 'em! lol ;)
I wonder if the Kingsmen ever listen to a song called "wild thing" by the Troggs ;-)

Oh, I've dummped my Twitter again. ( I get a lot of haters when I attack the wealthy scum! so, I open a new account regular!)
Great to see you are holding true to your song book. I use it for the few students I'm still teaching.
