It looks awesome, but I think it deserves an Audi badge! It's between the Touareg TDI, the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid (or diesel once it is released), the Mercedes M-Class BlueTEC, or the BMW X5d for me. What a wide price span, I know..

@TheUltramarine55 I just traded a 2008 4.8 X 5 for the Touareg Exec model. The VW with would seem as only 280 HP really is quick since it has an 8 speed transmission. It rides great, the interior frankly is nicer than the X5. A couple of things that should be corrected. The Ipod/Iphone adapter is in the glovebox. Bad location should be in center console. The rearview cameras were not installed on the 2012's due to lack of supply of the cameras. They have a radar system instead. Overall = Great!

Uh I hate hybrids. Especially when the cram the motors in odd places. The mileage isn't exactly head turning anyways. And when those electric motors break, the bills are gonna be sky high. Normally I'd say V8 for towing but since that's not an option, V6 diesel so long as it doesn't sound bad and is fairly smooth.

Why would they have AWD standard on the hybrid? I would think that 2WD would be standard on the HYBRID for fuel economy reasons.
