hows the battery life? 8 month? i do hav the arc keyboard now that i can tell u lasts a really long time as far as battery. 6 months.its really awesum n luv it
Your an awesome reviewer m8! Thanks for the clip. This is an old one I see, pity I couldn't find ur uploads as easily prolly cuz of the low view-count. I'm looking for a good but cheap wireless gaming & all-purpose mouse (say $80 tops?), any recommendations??
@undeny I personally like bluetrack microsoft mouses for that, but it really depends on what you like. I would go to an electronics store and see what works for you.
I could give a couple of reasons, but the main one is the scrolling wheel. It falls apart in time. It's made of rubber. While it (before it fails you) is pretty neat for searching the web - it works poorly with many programs. Scroll-down windows, scroll-bars etc. So often rendered useless, unless you only search the web.
I am going to replace mine now. Have had it only a year I think. Also in my case, the battery is changed every 1-2 months. And I am a careful user!
I got this mouse at Best Buy on sale for $25 and its so great. I had a Arc and it didn't track as well as I would've liked so I returned it and got this. Very nice mouse, love it.
@dotspace77 yeah.. I have many stress about the wire of mouse. so I am thinking to buy some wireless mouse .. but I see...that.. the ight point of this mouse is not in the center.. the light point is more in right. I have some mouse which looks same with light point of this mouse. and it is not good for gamming. the position of the light point is serious..so I think just cheap and strong and small mouse is best to use. others are all toys. if I have many money, I will create best one for human.
@gundrag000 The position of the light should not have any effect on the suitability of the mouse for gaming. The fact that your other mouse (with the off-centre light) is bad for gaming should only be a coincidence. :)
And hahaha, I think it's a great idea to make the best mouse for humans :)
@dotspace77 that effected to me a lot ... position is serious to me .. and it is different by person. someone may love the off center position. but usually, most people will like correct center position. and what's mean by great idea ? did you say some idea in here ?... and I didn't try to talk even a idea about best mouse. I just have complained somethings. great idea ? nobody can't make even a great idea suddenly without effort.
@dotspace77 most gays and company dosen't make even a thing for human. it is all for money. yet, present this world and all human is not good and smart. so I don't hope here is many good things for human. anyway .. I have no money to buy anything.. so well.. I think this is just for hobby or some.. just normal people who wants wireless mouse or who has many money.. not good for real gamer. and I know most real pro-gamer dosen't use high price mouse for gaming. I have watched pro-game league 10yr
Hi. I have a Logitech's Anywhere MouseMX mouse version and this is my review: watch?v=IKP6Pf28bWw (I'm sorry this is Turkish speech). My mouse is a little bit noisy when I push the left click so I want to change it. I will buy Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 or 6000. Would you tell me which model is less noisy or are they same? I watched a few reviews (I watched your Mobile Mouse 4000 review too) in youtube but I haven't determined yet. Please help me because noise is more important to me.
@OutlawzTexas: Zollotech is correct. Traditional optical mice use a red LED (light emitting diode). Laser mice use a laser and are about 20 times more accurate than red LED mice. Blue track mice are "allegedly" about 3 to 5 times more accurate than laser mice (according to Microsoft). Dark-field mice, however, are about 20 times more accurate than laser mice. Dark-field mice are better than Blue-Track.
@zollotech i have got a mouse exactly like yours, so will mine glow like yours its exact same or is the blue led for the exclusive before it actually comes out ones?
whats the difference between the 3000, 4000 and 6000? I agree I have handled alot of mice and the microsoft mice feel better in my hands, logitechs feel too light and plasticky except for the mx mice, those are nice but expensive
Hey, anyone got this mouse and an xbox 360? I wanna know if there is any RF problems like choppy signal and what not, any answers would much appreciated.
I've had a 6000 and its really good but about 2 months in the red lights gone on. Thats a bit off from their 10month claim. ill wait n see how long it lasts
I've been using this mouse for the past 4 months and it stopped working. Turns out the Nano transceiver overheated while connected in my usb port. Tried to figure out why the little transceiver overheated!!!
@xPsycho3Dx I had the exact same thing happen with this mouse after around 3 or 4 months. Best Buy exchanged with with no problems (I still had my receipt by some stroke of luck). I really like the mouse though.
Does this Mouse have a light effects like Explorer Mini Mouse.. i mean from down.. the Explorer Mini Mouse lights fomr down.. does this one have it too??
i just got the wireless mouse 5000 bluetrack. i like it the only thing wrong with it is the scroll wheel, its like buttery smooth which i dont like when i play games because it scrolls to much when moved so fyi to those
Don't leave it plugged in because i left mine plugged in and now the chip is fried it doesn't work anymore.

Been using it for a year.....

@kostar500
Some tips from me for better battery life:
- Buy high quality alkaline/ lithium batteries, you can also try rechargeable batteries, but it's only personal preference..
- Get used to turn off your mouse when you don't use it.
- It might be a bad quality mouse..
Try these out, I've just changed my battery today, after almost 13 months..

1. You sure we can't have the blue light under it like Explorer / The mouse you showed us?
2. Some time my scrolling is lagging / working slowly. Any suggestions?
