Why the Hell are you using 500ohm ?
Just solder 2 LEDs in line and with most LEDs you are fine with a 7,2V NiMh or even a 2S Lipo.
Why are you using a cheap Plastic Body?
The way you did your lightning isn't a good way to do it.
And PLEASE leave the Wire from the ESC alone!
Your Resiver should have a third spot to connect a Bat-Pack.
Just use a JST Male Plug there and you've got your power (5v or 6v, depending on your ESC).
