thats the first mistake right there: thinking the devil is more powerful than he actually is, his "omniscience"and "omnipresence" ...no! only the Lord God is omniscient and omnipresent. the devil has to use demons to do his dirty work which possibly makes people think he's "everywhere" . he's not. the devil also cannot read our thoughts, only Gods can. dont give the devil more credit than what he deserves. he is STILL a created being and will one day be destroyed
