I have the Aspire 4315 aswell, with a T5850 Core-2-Duo. There have been reports this laptop can also accept 800FSB Socket P CPU's aswell,, such as the T7100. T7250, T7300, T7500, T7700 & T7800. The latest BIOS is v1.16, and can be found on Acers FTP Website FTP dot Work dot Acer, Acer only provide v1.15 on there support website.

Sorry, no. Meant for basic tasks. Like web browsing, word docs, music, videos, etc. Could not handle games like COD4.

MY Dual Core is not over clock. Mine is 1.8 Ghz T_T Most of the game Dont work! They said that The DMC4 game needs over clock cpu and 1 GM or better 2gb ram. If I upgrade my Ram then its still useless ryt? Not even working in PCSX2 T_T

You can't use Intel processors in AMD sockets. Currently AMD does not offer a Quad Core Notebook CPU. There best mobile processor is the AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core ZM-86 2.4Ghz. Good luck finding it, very scarce. You might find it on eBay. You should definitely upgrade your RAM 768MB is not enough to play those games well you'll need 2GB RAM, This will help a lot.

Sorry right now AMD mobile processors are not up to par with Intels. So as of now there are no AMDs that are equivalent to Intel's mobile Quad CPUs. I would just upgrade your RAM to 2GB.
