@jameswray50 I am wondering the same thing. I asked many people in person who were actually in the Navy and they said that you cant join the SEALS through the Marines. However I just don't buy it. I thought most SEALS are Marines.
@RoadWolfify You have to be in the Navy. The Marines have Force Recon. It is somewhat similar in some aspects of the training. But the missions end up being pretty different. But, you can join the Marines, and once your time there is up go to the Navy. Then you can go into SEAL training. Granted that you are able to meet the qualifications for it. Most SEALS are not Marines. Some are FORMER Marines. But you cannot be signed with the Marines and be a SEAL. Hope that helps
Holy Wow. Your brother did this at 54??? He must have been in great condition before he completed this program. Regardless, it is awesome and there are not enough words to describe what an achievement for your brother. KUDOS!

My brother Joe Stumpf is 54!!!!! He just completed this SEALFIT training. He is so fit! He learned alot. He is the oldest guy EVER to do it!!!!
