Perfect scene.

Again a "Fallen Angel" in this case attacking who appeared to be a man , a good man, who had weakened faith.

If you don't realize what the writer is doing here?

What were the 12 apostles? They were men like Thomas of weakened faith. Average ordinary men with mega flaws.

But @ the end of the day what did they do?

THEY STOOD UP FOR GOD!

Just like Thomas in this movie. He lost his faith, he had doubts, he was flawed.

But yet @ the end of the day he STOOD UP

I know that...but his performance wasn't even close as to what he did in The Prophecy. When I saw The Prophecy a when it came out, I needed to know the name of the actor who played 'The Devil' because it was one of the greatest performances I had ever seen. The I knew he was in LOTR and was disappointed with just about everyone's performance in that - but the script was good. Music wasn't as good as Conan the Barbarian tho

Ok the best devils I've found are as follows in no particular order:

Viggo: this movie

Gabriel Byrne: The End of Days

John Light: Prophecy Forsaken and Uprising

Ofcourse this is only my opinion. The one from Passion was good but I like these guys best.

as great as viggo was i thought de niro was better in angel heart. true viggo had literally no screen time and delivered an impact just as great as walkens, but deniro edges this one for me
