Hey Ed, the 2nd Ammendment had nothing to do with hunting. Everyone hunted in the days of our founding fathers. That is how they fed themselves, no second ammendment required. The 2nd ammendment was about self defense from criminals and as a means to keep a potential out of control government in check.

Yes Ed, these guns are made to kill people. To kill people that are threatening you with great bodily harm or death. Have you ever heard of a home invasion that involved 3-4 criminals bent on doing a family harm? Lets assume you are a great shot and totally cool under pressure. What about your wife if she was alone? What about anyone else that might just need all the rounds they can have. Why do you care how many rounds a law abiding citizen has?

Have you ever heard of home invasions Ed? If 1, 2, or 3 armed thugs burst into your home to do you and your family harm, how many rounds would you like to limit yourself to by law? I am a law abiding citizen who owns several pistols for self defense, including a Glock 17 with a capacity of 17+1. I also keep two extra 17 round mags on hand. I also have a carry permit and most of the time I am armed with a semi-auto pistol. What is it about this that concerns you?

The real target was Judge John role who ruled against gun confiscation, against FEMA taking over the government in the case of emergency, against peoples bank accounts being seized by law enforcement officers etc Note how nothing hardly was mention'd about this great man.

@ahamatmabrahman I've heard that argument twice now and it seems to make more sense now. Its like Sir Han Sir Han except it more confusing in regards to the motives. Its obvious when a MK Ultra patsi kills one person, but when they kill everyone around the 'target' it becomes a diversion from what the PTB's real intentions are.

Im a liberal and Shultz is just full of hyperbole , the gunman wasn't diagnosed with any mental illness , so there was no reason to deny selling a gun to him and we still don't know the extent of any mental illness or if he was brain washed or just snapped , WE DONT KNOW , until an investigation .

If you add all the ages of the victims that died in the shooting x 2 you get 666. Christina Green 9, Phyllis Schneck 79, John Roll 63, Dorthy Morris 76, Dorwan Stoddard 76, and Gabe Zimmerman 30. Six victims die and all their ages totaled x 2 is 666.

Well I have grown up in the UK ...and I am glad that guns are not legal and common here. The best protection from Guns is not to have guns.

I wonder if it will turn out that half of the people killed were accidentally killed by the people shooting back at this guy.

The school board shooting ended with the shooter himslef being shot, i admit this is no big loss, but still this isnt a victory for pro-gun groups. How many people are killed in thier own home with a gun, being mistake for an intruder? It goes to show people cannot be trused with guns dispite their best intentions

@salemmoguy I understand where you're coming from but people tend to give the state and cops too much credit.Like annboyll said,where were they when 13 people were injured and 6 killed? Besides no one with good intentions wants to shoot the wrong person. He (Joe) gauged the situation and made the right decision. So in my opinion he was a responsible gun owner. Life is not simple, nor is it always risk free. You live it as free as possible and look to your fellow citizen for help, not the state.

In Arizona it is the law that everyone can pack. I have A question regarding Loughner. Why was the shooter able to shoot 18 rounds? Where were the cops? Why did an old lady have to the gun away,where were the cops. If they were all packing that day the kid may not of gotten shot. Where were the cops. I also think the congress woman was a side show I think the judge was the target. He was preparing a ruling against Obama about currency and 401ks that kind of stuff, 72 hours before the shooting

The problem with Joe is that he potentially could have shot the WRONG person. He said he grabbed the wrist of the person holding the gun, and then he was told that was not the shooter.

Alternate scenario: he walks out of Walgreens and shoots the person holding the gun--wrong person.

Very dicey for Mr. Zamudio. And I'm not sure what he did. It sounded like others had control of Loughner.

I believe the real target of this fiasco was the federal judge because he opposed many of obama's views, therefore he needed to be taken out. The new executive orders that obama has passed makes this rather clear. The focus on Gifford is to hide this fact, and works well to hype up their gun control agenda...
