ah, a classic MSIA, my first Zeon mobile suit. I remember getting it at K-Mart for about $12 dollars or so. My second Zeon mobile suit was Char's Gelgoog custom. Those two saw alot of action fighting the EZ8 and GP-01 on weekdays back in 2001 when MSG was on Toonami. It was great year up until that one particular event happened.

This is the reason why I to love the zaku. Even in the HGUC models, when you get a zaku 2( type f, type j, char custom, tri star custom) it will come with all the weapons that belong to it( minus the Magellan cannon and the type f2 and fz don't have the bazooka but have the 90mm gun). On the other hand, in order to have all the weapons for the gundam ground type you have to have 3 different kits( msia and hguc) though I only think the hguc version of rx 79 g has the rail gun.
i can explain the why for the zaku carrying cable.......
1st thing to remember it that the zeon forces are from cylinder type space colonies , which due to there shape would have little gravity in the central open space and most air travel near the center would be nearly zero g. which is why the zaku can be carried. its also the reason behind zeons bizzare shaped aircraft . with little gravity inside the colonies center aerodynamics would not be as critical as an earth bound aircraft .

Is there really a desert type zaku? I have never seen it before. Also you could mix and match parts between the goufs and zakus as well.

i just noticed that the us delux pack zaku, is the only (with exeption of the version 2) one that has the meggela top gun.
