Peace was going all off the top, he didnt fall off until the very end when the beat was off, but thats when they started nterrupting him. This was clearly the case of Eyedea playing on home turf

@SunDeisel Not really. That isn't really Juices style and he won the scribble jam in the late 90s as well as Eyedea. You have to just say something that gets the crowds attention but what ever it is whether its threats, comedy, shock tactics, something else, is up to you. In Scribble 97 Juice had lines like "Your whole freestyle need improvement, I'll hang you by your chain like the Civil Rights Movement". That isn't comedy but the it got the crowds attention because his opponent had on a chain.

I don't think he said anything that was over anybodies head, even the basic punchline when he said "Toss you like a Frisbee" Eyedea responded with "Toss you like a refridgerator, what does that mean?" Peace never said refridgerator. I think it is clear that nobody really wanted to hear Peace in the first place, wasnt on home turf, the crowd already had there mind up who they liked.

@smeaglerG I see where you are coming from, the crowd matters, but after you hit the instant replay button you see it wasnt all that it seemed. Eyedea play the crowd and had hella premeditations, but you can tell Peace was in true freestyle mode. When he said toss you like a frisbee, you can see by the timing and rhythm it just came to him, I think that was pretty tight, but everyone down played it

When you say "Destroy" that means a K.O. blow was delivered, and I just dont see that. People, including Eyedea slept on Peaces concepts, like when he said Frisbee, Eyedea said he said refridgerator. Eyedea had too many inaccuracies. Depending on how you measure the technical points it can be a close call favor either mc.

I disagree, Eyedea didnt destroy Peace. He just knew how to move the crowd, who seem to be his locals. He was saying inaccurate things, like Peace bit his style from Bone Thugsm when in reality it is the other way around. He said a gang of premeditated punchlines, mainly focused on albums Peace released. Peace was going all off the top, he didnt fall off until the very end when the beat was off, but thats when they started nterrupting him. This was clearly the case of Eyedea playing on home turf
