  • I'm sick of the Jackson 5 too.

  • is it ok to also say "wo xiang yao he pi jiu"?

this is what the Pimsleur Mandarin says

  • OMG!!! Awesomeeee!!! Can you please do video about study like "how was the exams?" and stuffs, therefore i can talk to my chinese friend and of course my boyfriend too (: i'll be very appreciate.

  • How do you say "But Will it Blend?"

  • Wow, benny is so much cuter than I had him pictured in my head

  • Benny your the best man! My visit in Shanghai was so smooth man. Xie Xie Ni!

  • forget water. wo xu yao yi bei pi jiu. seriously wo xiang yao he yi bei pu jiu. wo kai wan xiao le.

  • Thanks... for confusing me. You teach us to say he shui, but when you do it you say mai shui.... Why? what does mai mean? why would you teach us one thing then say something completely different in your example and not explain it at all? Your lessons will be more effective if I don't have to search through your other lessons to figure out why you're swapping words out. Otherwise, your lessons are very helpful, xie xie

  • @lzepln Mai means buy. :)

  • thanks Benny.

    That music is really distracting.

  • Damn music

  • GOOD WORK BENNY...

  • You are awesome Benny!! You've helped me so much :)

  • Benny, kill the music. Please. It is good Benny and I would pay for your lessons but the music is worse than just a distraction it gets in the way of the lesson. TKS

  • turn off the annoying music. very confusing

  • hello extra credit

  • Bennyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! Wo ai ni!!! ni haofang!!!

  • Thank you so much ! I'm really trying to learn how to speak Mandarin Chinese and its really confusing at times but I am still trying, this video is really helpful .

  • why he switch he to mai in the sentence?

  • he just changes it from "I want to drink" to "I want to buy" mai=buy

wo yao he works just as well though

  • "Wo yao he pijiu." means "I want to drink beer." "Wo yao mai pijiu," means "I want to buy beer."

  • @10pEnc1lsWeaters

taks for that mai expain ^_^

  • @Kevinyoul0o5serr , ''mai'' is ''to buy'. Wo yao mai pi-jiu (I want to buy beer)

  • what does hao de mean

  • sth like 'ok' in this situation

  • "hao de" , used as ''o.k.'' here, literally means; ''good'' or ''it's good''. Chinese language has it's 'slang' uses as well.

  • when people ask me "ni yao he shenm?", i'll go with "wo yao 'he' kele" instead of "wo yao 'mai' kele". its like in english when people say 'wat do u want to drink'?' u'll probably say "i want to drink coke" other than 'i want to buy coke'.

  • ..great

  • please when you are teaching the sentence take away the music so we can hear you better.=)

  • im wondering how to say(want to go out sometime) and (mabe we should go?)

  • hi,in the pub,is it better to say "wo yao he" or "wo yao mai"?

  • hi corowin18, it is better to say wo yao he

    Benny

  • hi corowin18, it is better to say wo yao he

    Benny

  • IT'S OK BUT MICHEAL jACKSON'S BROTHERS (tHE jACKSON FIVE) IN the background is a bit loud.

  • Bu shuh! No Benny your videos is awesome!! i like them alot and they are very helpfull.. Xie xie! Zhaijian

  • Xie xie! Have any question just let me know!

  • The music is too loud and very dated, ie old fashioned. it makes the Chinese difficult to hear and learn, and it is very annoying. Your best videos are the ones where you explain the individual words and give the characters. It would improve all your videos if you also give the Traditional Chinese characters as in Taiwan they do not use Simplified. I am finding your site very useful, thankyou.

  • Thank you for your suggestions!

  • I like this video. It helps. :] And plus i watch alot of Dramas that helps too.

  • I agree with you!

  • I learning now and I found your video but your background music is too load..... soft and calm music it will make it perfect!!!!

  • Thank you for your suggestion!

  • yes the music is a bit to loud^^

  • Great step by step learning! You like Jackson 5 don't you!

  • Right!

    Do you like it?

  • I like this videos the Music is Cool and Funny

I am in Love with an Chinese Girl (she speaks Perfect German) but i want prove her family also that i am interested on the hole family and their Culture so that they must like it that i am in love with her daughter =))

  • Hello Benny! Really good video. But i have got a question for you, why can't we use 想 instead of 要?

  • we can use either 想 or 要, 想 is more polite which means I would like....

  • I really like your videos, Benny! Just not the background music, it is distracting

  • Thank you for your kind suggestion. I will improve on the music!

  • benny I have a question. in the introduction you say that _ 'wo yào he'. means to drink, but when you order you say 'wo yào mai'. do these words mean the same?

  • Hey,ag15ui11na19ldo80,thank you for your question! 'wo yào he'means to drink but 'wo yào mai' means to buy!

  • Music too distracting, you also need to slow down a bit, speaking a bit too fast as if your in a hurry to finish this and want to do something else.

  • Thanks for your kind comment! I'll aim to make it better for you in the future!

  • background music is very distracting...turn it off please.

  • Thank you for your kind suggestion!

Hope you still like the video! :)
