Thumbs up if everytime you see a comment explaining something that happens in the video you keep on looking back and forth at the time to make sure you dont miss it
I march tenors for a Group III PA State Champ band, and I'm the only rookie in the school's history to go straight to tenors.I'm putting my heart and soul into making the Bluecoats tenor line. Our marching instructor marched baritone for the Bluecoats, and he told us before every competition how much they changed his life and how grateful he is to have marched for them.I've watched these videos of Michael Gray's legendary speeches before every competition, and it just made me realize how amazing dr
@SlapChopMyShamWow I'm in the same spot, I was the first freshman to make quads at my high school (sophmore now), and its my life's goal to make that line, the Blue Q as they call it
One day I hope to be a Bluecoat. I feel inspiration and the brotherhood just within this video and it triggers my will to act not to just become a better percussionist and musician, but a better son, brother and a better person altogether. DCI and marching band is something so few understand, but MILLIONS around the world have a passion for. You will learn life long lessons and philosophies if you do DCI. I will never know how to thank all my personal instructors for all they've done for me.
Our band director showed us this before we started our practice for our competition yesterday. The last line in this is what is driving us this week as we head into championships.
@NateJordan2012 How could someone dislike something like this.. This story, which I've never heard till just now, has helped me beyond measure. I have tears in my eyes right now, and I'm not a mushy person. Michael Gray, just saved this Starfish. Thank you.
Anybody know the background music?
