Epic song. This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song. I remember I was listening to it so much and heard it for the first time in 2007 (possibly late 2006). Then Led Zeppelin announced that "they were reuniting" (without BONZO BONZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) I never guess the song they would play live was FOR YOUR LIFE, but it fucking was and omg. Thanks, Afroman, for posting this, and the lyrics especially! There's a handful of Zep songs that I could never truly know what the lyrics were (on Physical Graffiti) and of course, Presence. Probably their most underrated album. Never got any real airplay in the old days.

Led Zeppelin has been and still is the best rock band ever. There is not a bad song

on any of their albums. I do not think there is any other band that has achieved that

standard since. I listened to led zeppelin every day back in the 70's & 80's when

man this whole album is underrated...their lowest seller, but even in jimmy page's words, it's the "most led-zeppelin of any of our albums"...

Achilles Last Stand, IMO, is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard, and one of the earliest kinds of those long, heavy metal songs that Metallica thrived on. A lot of variety in this album as well.
