  • my tip is that you should just do streaches for a hole week and then when your ready go on to splits xx i will do a video for u xx

  • OKay hun, what you can do is get in a straddle and get a stole or something kinda high and put one foot on there and the other on the ground and try to put your belly on the floor and hold it and then do it to the other side or you could get in a split and put like a heavy mat on top of you or do them on chairs

  • i was just like u but i kept streching every day and now i have a middle split

  • What you could try to do, is the straddle stretch. You could also do a stretch which requires about 2 friends, one on each side of your leg. A friends put his/her 2 feet infront of your 1 leg (1 leg for each friend) and the second does the same and then they push.You should be sitting on the ground against the wall (your back facing the wall). The last one i would strongly recomend to do is the frog stretch. Go as low as you can and have someone push you down and hold it.

  • i find holding the straddle possition against a wall or soemthing so you have something to keep your feet in the same place and you gradualy push yourself forward, in total i probabily stay there in that same possition for about 3 mins. it helps.

  • I learned to do the splits by going as far as you can, without feeling excruciating pain, just a bit of pain, holding it for about 20 seconds then moving back and shaking out my legs a bit then doing that repeatedly... this makes it so that the next time, you can start off where you left, without having to do the entire warm up stretching first... it just works faster

  • I am trying to accomplish doing the splits but the progress is so slow, I just started training like earlier this month and I am like an inch or two away from the floor.

  • I learnt this way;

    Stretch your legs apart as far as possible (even if it hurts) for about five minutes. Then once it doesn't feel so painful just move forwards and wait. Keep doing that and then finally when you are quit close just force yourself. I tmight hurt but it will let you dot he splits! Worked for me!

  • wen i try to do cbox spilts it really hurts me n all. I just warm up LOADS! then just let myself fall as fall as i can into them, wen i feel the pain i just hold it n think to myself "i will do the box splits" n just take the pain lol. Im nearly there now its just them i cant do i can do the ova two :D

  • The tip I have to stick to is: suck in the pain.

  • the thing is the pain is really bad and my hips and the back of my knees like ping i dunno how to explain it

  • Actually I know what you mean 'cause I'm that far on my side splits. I got that far by trying to flatten my legs on a wall. (Well, a piese of furniture really.) It hurs your knees though. :\

  • it shouldnt hurt your kneees, always warm up 1st and go slow don't just drop into it, it will come with practice

  • have someone to stretch u and push u down in the stretches..
