Someone please explain the significance of "3" warning shots to the head when Lennon was shot 6 times I thought...or is that what MDC said at the time he was arrested or something or was it in the book "Catcher...?" Im not sure if Im getting all the facts right...I love Rick and Lennon and this song though!! This cd sounds great...Im definately getting it today!!!
I was 10 years old when Mark David Chapman killed John Lennon. I was the only angry 10 year old on my block that day, as I was a major Beatles & especially a John Lennon fan. The other kids did not understand. Rick Springfield wrote "Three Warning Shots" for EVERY John Lennon fan who ever felt like what this song says. It's sad yes, but we are only human, and anger sometimes does that to even us pacifists. I thank Rick Springfield for speaking for countless Lennon fans. Remember, 12-08-80.

I just seen him in concert 4 days ago. I been a fan since high school way back in 1981. Wow, he is ageless, I decided I had to touch him and I did, I touch his wrist, his skin is so soft, he made me have butterflys in my stomach. He isn't just another pretty face, he is a talented pretty face and a great guitarist.
I wish everyone would stop using Lennon's killer's name, that's just what the scumbag
wanted. It should not be called by it's name. Love the song, I hope the scab has heard
it somehow...
