You know nothing of the 1911. Why are you doing a review of something you are not informed about? AOC has been owned by Kahr since 1999. The 1911 was not invented in 1911, but the military adopted it that year. The military started testing the 1911 in 1906. Have fun acting like you know something.
@syxtnyne69 i had a problem with my mag that came with mine. when loaded with 7rds. it tends to lock at the bottom of the mag. i had that after i shot the first 7rds.
Also, do you have mag problems? I've heard it's a common problem and I'm looking to get one of these. I love the look of the WWII 1911, so I need to find out about these mags. lol
thx for the vid - on a budget searching for a good 1911 and my choices have been limited to the remington, para gi expert and AO's - I think the AO will get the nod and doing a few mods to it seems like the best route to go (and its made in USA).
Only thing I don't like about mine is the sights. That is some thing I didn't think of when I brought it( 1st/ only 1911). Another thing about it you didn't mention is you can order every part of the gun from AO's website. Coming on 500 or so rds down range in the half a year I had this bad bear. Shoot only Tula ammo and so far it shoots good. Nice vid.
That is a bad ass weapon. I am in the process of buying a AO 1911 as well. What grips did you use? also did you bring out the engraving with white out or did you take it in to your local gun shop for that? Great video. Thanks for the help.

Well yes that's what I heard from other gunsmiths but I never had a problem an not the extractor the slide frame will so listen closely next time

you don't let the slide drop because its supposedly rough on the extractor...thats it. The frame will not crack.
