congratulations with your one year and your numbers. I feel like I have been 'in seclusion' from moving the last 2 months, but hope to be back on now. You look great and I think how you feel and how you are living life is so much more important than a 'statistic' on a scale :)
@LifeItnotDiet I agree... it's funny but the numbers really do mean less and less. They are a measuring stick... but the best part of it all is just how much great living life is now... there's nothing that is not more enjoyable! So good to see you here... can't wait to go catch up with your vidoes!
What a difference a year makes! So awesome. I took a trip to DC during spring break of 2008 I think it was and there was so much that I didn't do because of my weight. It is so sad that the weight makes us shelter ourselves. I'm so glad to have found you and this community! Thank you.
@dottiemay71 I'm glad you found us to and through that we found you Dottie! Now break out of those self inflicted prisons and go out there and live! That's an order!
you are awesome! youv'e lost so much weight and you in onederland WOO HOO! I recently started to wear a shirt that shows my arms and rosemary was an inspiration for me to not be ashamed. now I see you do it and not care what other people say that, you are also an inspiration to me also. your videos always make me happy because I get to see that smile on you. ~hugs~
@hellokitty7696 oh my dear dear Josie! You are so beautiful... both inside and out don't let anyone make you feel ashamed... you are an amazing lady and anyone who knows ...like we do here from your videos know that... go out there and rock it... you as I said last night to a cousin in re: the extra skin... there are advantages... like for instance with the arms i can clap without using my hands so that means I can still hold onto my beer while I'm cheering! lol... love you girl!
you are my hero! what an inspiration you are to me! don't listen to other voices-- listen to your internal voice-- it is very wise! your puddles will keep puddling the lower you go- and you will find the need to own every stage of your body change- size etc. i am embracing the bony parts I used to not like. I just Love you Neecy
@cabernetqueen lol yeah... the puddling... I will look forward to the day I can drain those babies lol. It's time like this that I wish I had children because I'm thinking maybe with the sale of a first born I might be able to afford the plastic surgery I'm gonna need lol.... oh well... I'll take the puddles anyday vs the spare tires filled with fat!
I completely understand your thoughts on travel. I went to Italy in July '07 at 300 lbs. It was HOT and I was sweaty, miserable with all the walking, and thinking about it now makes me a little sad.
You've accomplished so much and have come so far - glad to see you back :)
@Sunnedae I am so so glad to be back. Although I still have a lot of catching up to do I honestly do find it easier to stay on track if I keep up with folks here and make regular appearances... I guess it keeps us accountable. I so whole heartedly agree that when you are doing this crazy roadtrip you need support of people going through it too... either online or at meetings but find that support people!!! Thank you Anne too for your support you are such a firecracker...love ya!
