  • nice

  • meh probaly the easiest thing ever before it did burn alot now it dont

  • porn music :S

  • that is wrong

  • tbh everyone has a 6 pack or whatever, u just need to tone it all up, by getting rid of the fat thats covering it.

  • LMFAO! This guy has like 10 pacs lmfao, look at the red abs.

  • I'm soo lazy, I laid down on floor put my hands by my ears...

Then my body started yawning.. -_-

  • This is an awesome way for me to cut down my workout time! I'm a SAHM, and my girls just had winter break. My gym has day care, but I found I couldn't do my normal workout *and* shower in the time allotted. So, I'm looking for combination exercises to reduce my time before spring break. Thanks for posting this. I tried them out just a few minutes ago, could totally feel it, so this is going to work out really well! :)

  • how many crunches do i need to do to burn 3000 calories lol

  • @Lovenyouu01 Wrong type of exorcise, this will make you gain weight by building muscle. For weight loss you want running or cycling, swimming, anything like that

  • @GeorgeMaier - I disagree, as would most people who know anything about fitness. The exercises that one would do to build muscle burn calories in addition to muscles mass burning more calories than if your body had smaller muscles or just plain body fat. BTW.. . It's 'exercise', not 'exorcise', unless you're talking about casting out demons (which isn't really related to crunches).

  • @Lovenyouu01

First, how much do you weigh? If are you 200 pounds, you need to do 5 hours of crunches. You can split them up, but you must reach 5 hours. Meaning the clock moves only when you do the crunches.

  • hey!great video just wonderin ill be 14 in the next two weeks im about 8 stone and im 5'2 do you know if doing crunches could stunt your growth or sit ups or press ups and what about 3kg or 4kg underarm dumbell lifts(i do 40-50 a day)SO COULD IT STUNT MY GROWTH PLEASE RESPOND-by the way i dont have any equipment or stuff and i dont go the gym i just workout at home.

  • @internettelivision no its an age old myth that weight lifting can stunt your growth and that goes for any other form of exercise as well.

  • Oh, boy, that is REALLY a good one! Tomorrow, wonder how many I'll be able to do...so simple, don't know why I didn't think of it myself, looks like it will do wonders.

  • how many of these a day would you have to do until you got a flat stomach? or so u can actually see a six-pack ?

  • @Jigsaw6677 Probably 500+ for 6 months. 6 pack is hard xD

But this is what I do. Watch T.V. for an hour. Do 20 sit ups every 2.5 mins. 1 hour = approx 400 crunches.

  • @fire00714 And how long did it/will it take you to get a visible 6-pack if you do that many every day??

  • @Jigsaw6677

Flat stomach = cardio. Crunches = abs.

If you're sore from an ab workout, you don't really want to do them the next day

  • @exdeeer if I got fat stomach.. not really fat can i do this exercise and get six pack?

  • the music....it ...wont...stop

  • It's kinda creepy how the guy never blinks.

  • sit ups and crunches are stomach muscle workouts and are good for football that is why i watch these so i do them right

  • haha i've got a two pack xD

  • Wow. Much better than sit ups :)

  • if people think sit-ups actually work on your abs more... do 20 of these and 20 sit-ups... and you will be able to tell straight away which one was burning ur abs harder. My Tailbone kills from all those past stupid sit-ups lol

  • @RayLzJessLONGTIME lol wow i thot i was the only one that had that stupid tailbone prob from doing sit ups lol. i like these MUCH better

  • Thank you very much

  • wow... AB LOUNGE is worthless compare to these.

  • ia gree with the altroval ,the breath part is always important on each training, like here and pushups ,if u dont breath u got no power :D!

  • looks like an exercise move Frankie D and the Situation do on Jersy Shore LOL!

  • Couldnt find a human being to show people? thats sad.

  • @NorwegicusOnAstick

No, but it's easier to convey a point with animation.

  • how do i breath i do this and i cant breath TELL ME

  • Same here hehe :(

  • is this the most effective crunches or sit up?

  • tHIS IS GANGSTA

  • Sit ups are bad for your lower back

  • may i know what is suck in your gut ? which part of our body

  • is this the same like sit ups??

    only other name??

  • I think these are the best kinds of crunches...

Situps aren't a good ab exercise. After the 1st third of travel...it's almost all hip flexor activation.

What I don't like about the video:

    a) It doesn't tell you how to breathe during the reps

    b) The "suck in your gut" advice is sort of misleading. You want to exhale during the lift. A better way to get people to do the correct movement is to say "the chest should lead the motion...not the head/neck".

  • Thanks! you helped alot:)

  • wtf? they develop TOTALY different parts of the body >_> ...

  • your all fucking retarded sit-ups are for hip-flexers not your abs and crunches are made for the abs

  • Very true no one should give him a thumbs down it's true, sit ups work the hip flexors, because your going higher than the abs can go, so you engage the hips the crunches dont have that range of motion so it concentrated on the core muscles, most notably abs.

  • idk how to do a push up =[

  • gangstaaaaaa

  • when i do this, my thighs become tired, izzit normal?

  • yeah havnt you heard "feel the burn"

    its your muscles growing

  • The only thing which is wrong in this vid is that you shouldnt lay your head to the ground, when you do that, the tension will be lost and that would be suck >_>

    5*

  • yup, i find crunches have the highest efficiency too, just pure a. gbrs.

  • thats defenitly the wrong way!!!

you have to keep your head on a horizontal line. Take a point at the seeling and fix while doing the crunches.

if you do it this way, you'll get bad nack problems

  • Neck

  • Nobody does exercises wearing hiking boots and socks, come on it's definitely not real.

  • the sound is so great i could ravin to that for hours

  • That's not a real person

  • you're a genius ^^

  • hehe :)

  • it's me!

  • Are crunches really that much more effective than sit-ups? Whats a good number to do on a daily basis, and how long before I will see some small results? Thanks to whoever has the answer.

  • I dont do crunches on a daily basis but here's the way I do them: I do the most I can, then I take a 5-10 seconds pause, I do the third of that, another 5-10 seconds pause and the third again.

    For example: I do 36, 5sec pause, 12, 5 sec pause and then 4.

And the time before you see results really depends on how much body fat you have. If you want to have a cut shape you better just burn the fat and do cardio training.

  • Youre destroying your muscles. 3 times 12 crunches is more than enough. Remember to do them very slowly and controlled ;-)

  • Well, its depending on every person. I know that if I dont eat right after my training, I'm losing muscle. Every body has a different way to train

  • yeah but that has nothing to do with "Innosthefirst"s comment .... 3 times 12-15 crunches are enough if u do them correctly !

  • inno is right

  • thank you

  • How long should i hold them for?

  • sit ups are better more tenshion in different parts of your stomach

  • but they are also harder and u can do them after u do crucnches for awhile

  • They do excercise the stomach the first 30 degrees but once the back is off the ground, the hip flexors are being activated and the stomach muscles are no longer being used.

  • sit ups are damaging your back ... all in all crunches have the highest "efficiency"

  • your mothers a wacko ....

but i have to correct me hanging knee raises are more effective

  • sit ups are not that good for your back, that's why people often make crunches, even if situps are more efficient...

but if you are patient, and want to have an unburden back its better to make crunches.

    peace out

  • not a bad tutorial at all
