@tetsubo57 I've been thinking the same thing. What's the deal with jumping off the edge and THEN whistling for your bird? Shouldn't you be sure that the bird will actually come before you jump off anything? Also, why aren't the birds kept in an aviary, or whatever, and, when a person is ready to fly, the person's bird is brought out, and then he or she mounts the bird while still on solid ground, and they take off together? The way they do it makes no sense.
