Antisocial contempt for this area is disrespectful to the memory and sacrifice made by the local "Toll Boys" during WW1. There's a memorial on Robert Street for the 29 who never returned, paid for by residents who respected their neighbours.
This is shocking gives Inverclyde a band name these people should be strung up. All because they to lazy to go to the Depot at Pottery St. They don't give a damn about the environment they live in or the people around them that have to live in it and suffer. They should be heavily fined if caught and would realise getting the council to take it away even if they have to pay for it would be much cheaper than a fine. Makes me mad dumb dumpers.

My Aunt used to live in nearby Wallace Street, in the late 70s early 80s, it was a shit tip then and obviously hasnt changed, judging by the state of it, the other residents dont seem to bother either.
Look at the state of the whole tenement block. It's quite clear no one else that lives there gives a shit. I mean look at the state of the place. And why would you be at all surprised at this level of behaviour from anyone that calls the Ned infested toilet that is "Port" home.

Its been 11 years since i lived there and it was the same then as it is now a dumping ground for rubbish and junkies, shame really it could be nice if the council would finally get their arses in gear and clean it up like they've been promising for years now.
I think scum is the right word, and the poor old tax paying working man will eventually have to pay for the clean up via the council. Personally, I would set fire to the rubbish and then throw that idiot out of the window onto the top of it.
