@gmodpenguin24 I think I need to explain why I insist this is an observation, not a proof. If you want to prove mathematical propositions, then you must use mathematical objects like the axioms or theorems (which are actually derived from the axioms). Visuality ussualy misleads because mathematical objects are not visual, or concrete. All of them are abstract It’s hard to explain this concept here with limited words.

I hope nobody teaching math thinks this is DERIVING a formula. If so, it shows why we suck so bad in math. You derive a formula with logic and iron clad mathematic reasoning (proof). You can show 10,000,000 examples and you have proved (or derived) nothing.
