Rainbow Lips In Gimp 2.6

guys if u need help another way to do it is choose the paths tool go around the lips then go to

blend then choose the gradiant: pastel rainbow and guide the like all the way around the lips then ur done

When i do the gradient, the whole picture is them a gadient. can't get it back to the lips.

okay..heres what im gonna do...get the free select tool.. and outline the part i want colored..and go to fill and choose a pattern..and do it with different patterns on how i want it..and at the end..smudge all the ends to blend it..easy as pie!

Heres how to do it

>Select The Lasso Shape Tool Outline The Lip

>Layers>New Layer

>Press Gradient>Search for pastel rainbow>make a straight line across the lip while pressing c

>the go to layers>it should say normal change it to colour 100% worked for me

@xSquease I had the same problem at first to then i figured it out after you get the rainbow then press Ctrl+L until a little window with your layer's click on the layer with the rainbow ONCE, then it should just give the option to change the mode of that layer, change that layer's mode to color, then at the end when your all done erasing everything then go to layer and click merge down (make's the whole thing one photo) but if you need to erase after that Go to edit and click undo merge down.

@Mslalalyrics What she meant by "color" was that on the layer window, where it shows all your layers, there's an option to change the mode . The selection bar next to the word "Mode" . Then you have to click on the option "Color" and it enhances the rainbow.
