If you're trying to double output by adding that hole, yet have a box small enough to still have room in your trunk, I'd suggest getting a passive radiator. They are neat devices to experiment with. Adding a passive radiator to your enclosure will give you greater volume without needing a larger box. But just having a hole in a small box like that will tune the box to a frequency high enough to give you vocals. Otherwise, you have a bitchin sub! I love Pioneers, great and inexpensive!
