  • Thanks to you, my friend, I could get to listening to the piano. My record player wasn't as good as that of yours. Would you upload Picture Book and let me know, too? (My LP is full of hiss and scratches.) BRegards!

  • @ronnieross65 Agreeeeeeeee!!!!!

  • I remember how I got the first ticket. One of them was selling skulls on the sidewalk on the street. I just got talking to him. Didn't have a clue who I was talking to lol.

  • I saw Simply Red live playng the songs on this album at the El Macombo in in Toronto. They were totally awesome. What a voice this guy has. Very jazzy to. Got to meet them to. They gave me a ticket for the second show there. Never forget them. Nice guys. I believe they are very huge in Europe, but they were young and starting out at that time. Cheers.

  • this song / album reminds me of growing up listening to it while my dad worked on his upholstery. classic!

  • Great to see the LP turn on the turtable...

  • tremendo tema ME ENCANTA

  • this song is just pure magic!

The recording is cristal clear, i haven't heard anything like that. I got a few albums on CD's and vinyl but the vinyl always sound warmer. Much more dynamic much more organic. I am not a fan of digital sound, it makes a square out of a circle. SAVE THE VINYL!

My first concert ever was in the Milano football stadion with waterboys, simply red and simple minds, that must be something like 25 yrs ago

  • BLUE EYED SOUL BY MICK HUCKNALLL...IS THE BEST11111111

  • Years ago I was at a high end audiophile store and this is the album they liked to demo their equipment on. It was so extraordinary (the music and the equipment) I wasn't sure if I was being scammed. Sounded unbelievable. Love the album.

  • Thanks, yes it does sound really good, especially on vinyl I think

  • @sam66hazmal Vinyl is the best and only way to go......Simply Red.....Sad Old Red is a great song...with a kickin arrangment!!!

  • what a sound!

  • yes, thanks. I like the album a lot, some great songs and they sound fantastic on vinyl

  • picture book is such a great album, isn't it??

  • A hi fi reviewer's test track this one. Even on YT coming through my Rega Mira3 amp and R3 speakers the bass anchors the track to the ground - far more than I thought the 2M Blue was capable of. However, the stereo imaging is not as clear as it would be "in the flesh" . You didn't get a 2M Black for Chrimble by any chance did you?

  • @MarkPMus , I agree this is a great track for testing equipment playback. I noticed that you used to use the 2MBlue in the past but have since changed for a Goldring Cart any reason why? I basically went for the 2M Blue on recommendation as I could not get a demo. I have been quite pleased with it overall for the money it has been really good value.

However, would like a 2MBlack, I have read lot's of good feedback on the 2M Black.
