  • ivory !!! but the real best is east west (but u must have a big computer) and ivory II today

  • I play more often the Galaxy Vintage D (with update 1.2 fixing sustain bugs) but I hope the new version 4 of Pianoteq, coming soon, give us a more realistic sound especially on the attack of the note.

  • This one is easy. Galaxy Vienna Bos. Is really my favorite of all 6 reviewed.

Thanks for doing these ! They are very helpful.

I have Pianoteq and the out of the box has way to much reverb (easy to reduce it) to sound natural. But, once you voice the hammers etc. (you can even change from a plethora of available temperaments.) It truly is a remarkable product & tiny memory footprint compared to the rest. (still Galaxy BosenD is my favorite...if I wanted to give up that much memory&diskSpace.)

  • none of the pianos respond the same to the midi notes. Every piano sound require different interpretation. Ivory grand and Italian require more velocity for a richer sound, in my opinion. As I listen to the recording i choose: Italian, Alicia's, ivory grand and Galaxy (galaxy sounds like a toy compared to the others).

  • 1 EL IVORY ITALIAN!!!

    2 ivory grand

    3 Galaxy 2

    4 Alicia Okey

  • @sanpicolo I still wonder what song can I play that sound nice with Italian?

  • @sanpicolo Oh yeah, how about compare to Galaxy Vintage D?
