The empty stand wasn't actually open to the public, the other stands which are out of camera shot were pretty full. This was filmed on the first of three nights so maybe it was opened up for the remaining two performances.

You see, the RM Band is all about the Corps of Drums, they are the ones that make it so special. After 50 years, it still brings a wee tear to the eye to see the band being led on by the Corps.
