Dead Space is a good game, but Dead Space is more of an intense game than a horror game. Dead Space has its moments of horror, but there is no horror like the horror of being completely defenseless in the dark when you know nothing at all about who you are or what is trying to kill you. You don't even know where you are.

Clearly have not played Amnesia I have personally played dead space and Amnesia and this game is on a level of its own... leaving you alone and confused, giving you nothing to fight with, and taking control away from you. It is horrific and you should really play it. That being said Dead space is scary and still a good game it is just not as scary as this.
