It was a complete surprise, it was spontaneous and it was perfect. we all felt like we were one massive super group and everyone had an amazing time. It was the gig of my life and i am so chuffed i was there. Bono didn't know the words and he waas drunk....which is why he tried reading the words off a piece of paper on the floor. It wasn't rehearsed until ten mins before,...it was fun and exactly what gigs should be...about the music and fun!!

i really dont think any of these videos show how amazing this evening was. I was lucky enough to be there. The venue was intimate and perfect. Both bands came from the Brit awards and it wasn't until 11pm when the Killers first stepped on stage. Because of their poor performance at the awards, BONO and gary barlow agreed to come along to cheer up Chris Martin.

I must be getting old. This should be brilliant but I think its just a mess. The original song is far better than this version which is just a sing along. Bono doesn't look interested for parts of it. I love scratchy bootlegged live performances of U2 shows but this has none of the energy, melody or magic of any of them. War Child is a fantastic charity thought and I think if they released this they could raise pots of cash which could only be a good thing. Thanks for posting it.
