I remember hearing this story when I was young, and I've remembered the story for years and years. I remember the story itself being sad and making me cry and hoping that the story about the man sacrificing his son wasn't real. My friend sent me this video, and I soon realized it was the same story, yet it was about God's sacrifice for us, were the sinners on the train, many of us going along as though nothing happened. I never really cry, but this made me cry uncontrollable

Thing is the father in the film didn't plan his son's death from the day he was born. He didn't bring him to this world to die on that bridge. God on the other hand who had so many options as an all powerful guy, but he chose the day and way his "only" son would die. He chose people who would kill him just so his great plan could come true and people wold love him. Any other father who would do that would be either hated or in prison

Although I appreciate the impact of trying to identify with the pain of the Father this remains an imperfect attempt. This video depicts an accident whereas what the Father did for us was long in planning and was purposeful. The boy here did not return but our Father raised Jesus from the dead and seated him at his right hand. In the video everyone was saved but the sacrifice of Jesus made it possible to be saved IF people made the decision to accept his sacrifice. Important differences.

I cried so much watching this. It has so much power. You hear the stories and it’s so hard to picture it because you don’t believe someone would do that much for you. Believe it. This is the greatest analogy of what God did for us. We cannot dwell on our past, it all depends on what the future has for us.

There are NO words on earth to describe the love God gives us. Sacrificing His one and only son, just so we can live today. Do we deserve to live? No, we dont. But the Lord has so much amazing mercy and love for us, that this is what HE gave us. He gave us His son. He could have saved the world, or saved His son. I am eternally grateful that He chose to save us. I love you God, and i will FOREVER.

What happens to the person who has never heard of Christ? Because He is just, God will not punish a person for not responding to a message they have never heard. What happens to the person who rejects God? They will be punished for the rejection of the Father; they are without excuse, and “those who do such things deserve death” (Romans 1:32).

People that are saying "this video is innaccurate" or "this isn't how it went" it still was an amazing video. I am teenage guy and i tear up durin this video. I get what you guys are saying, how its not totally accurate, but it shows you what God did for us. Amazing video though, just amazing

Although I appreciate the impact of trying to identify with the pain of the Father this remains an imperfect attempt. This video depicts an accident whereas what the Father did for us was long in planning and was purposeful. The boy here did not return but our Father raised Jesus from the dead and seated him at his right hand. In the video everyone was saved but the sacrifice of Jesus made it possible to be saved IF people made the decision to accept his sacrifice. Important differences.
