  • The full name of the composer by the way

  • Does Anyone know the composer of this song? Please tell me i need to know for my choir competition, thanks!

  • @godinezmamajl George Frideric Handel. Can't find out who wrote the words.

  • Pls what key was this sung?

  • Very very nice, he executes the ornamentation beautifully

  • Lovely, absolutely lovely. Transfixing, really -- there's something about it I can't describe: the voice, song, setting, everything.

  • Is he really a baritone??? I don't know too much about music, but, to me, sound more like a tenor. Am i right?? Excuse my ignorance ; )

  • he is a tenor, not baritone.

  • @oscaryong nope, he's definitely a baritone.

  • Wonderful voice. Great acoustics in the recording as well. I love it!

  • Just wait until I post my bf's version of this song! :D but amazing job dude!

  • Very moving.

  • lovely voice :)

  • Very beautiful. He has a powerful voice..

  • good goodgoodgoodgood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • such a gorgeous voice:)

  • Elegant and aesthetic! 5 stars! great work! I really liked it among all the versions in Youtube! Keep up the great job! :) :) :) :)

  • Thank you for this You Tube posting..... This is a delightful voicce, rich and mellow.

  • Been looking for a baritone version on You Tube to practise from - this will do for me (though he's too good & it's a bit demoralising for a much older 'student' !)

  • Great voice and excellent diction!

  • Nice execution indeed! Keep up the good work.

  • piano arrangement seems to be influenced by rick wakemans unsurpassed classical variations cd from 2001

  • Great job, but the repeat on part A was a little off.

  • how do you mean?

  • I strongly disliked some of the liberties he took with the melody. But besides my opinion there, he actually had a few pitch issues within it. However it did still flow very well, and he DID do a very good job.

  • "Liberties"? they're called embellishments and were the cornerstone of baroque opera. the first time thru was to get the melody out there; the second time thru was for showing off. some singers were known for so much embellishment that the melody was totally obscured.

  • @orthohawk Exactly! I have never heard a recording of this piece that did NOT have creative embellishments on the repeat. Some people just don't 'get it'
